Saturdays are notorious for big moves on the PGA Tour, both up and down the leaderboard, which held true on this Saturday. Ryan Palmer started the day with a two-shot lead but would shoot a five over 77 and would open the tournament wide open. As it sits now, four are tied at the top, and 21 golfers are within four. Of those 21 golfers, only Lucas Glover, Gary Woodland and Si Woo Kim are the only ones that have qualified for next week’s Masters Tournament. One last chance to build the bankroll for next week with PGA DFS Showdown contests featuring $50,000 to first on DraftKings.

Round 3 Recap
Maverick McNealy was one of the first golfers out on the course today and showed that the course was getable. He burst out to a five-under 31 on the front side and catapulted up the leaderboard. Four others also shot 67, the low for the day, Scott Stallings and two of our leaders, Brandt Snedeker and Beau Hossler. Hossler will have a chance to win on Sunday for the second time this year.
Si Woo Kim also made a nice move, as did Aaron Rai and Denny McCarthy, all starting the day at three-under and all finishing at seven-under just three back. A pair of Aussies also came in at that number as Matt Jones and Aaron Baddeley both moved up 41 spots on the leaderboard today.

Best PGA DFS Picks Today for DraftKings Showdown
The wind that was there today will be all but gone tomorrow, a perfect day to play golf.
Jordan Spieth & Corey Conners ($10,700): If one buys into conspiracy theories, here’s one for you. Once both Spieth and Conners were out of the tournament today, their goal was to get as early as possible tee time for tomorrow. They both accomplished that, as they’ll go out in the third tee time of the day and be done before the leaders even tee off. In fact, they could be at Augusta by the time that happens. They’ll also come with considerably low ownership since they are starting at the back of the field, and neither of them has played bad tee to green. Spieth has gained just over four strokes in the three rounds but is still ice cold with the putter. That’s got to change a bit tomorrow. Conners, notoriously superb with his irons, hasn’t been all that good but has gained over 3.5 strokes off the tee, good for one of the best in the field. That should yield plenty of good approach shots tomorrow and a chance for his irons to bounce back into form.
Chad Ramey ($7,100): An opening round 74 has really hindered him this week, as Ramey has continued his strong iron play thru three rounds. He’s also looked good around the green, just needing to make a few putts on Sunday. He’ll be pretty low-owned since he’s in a tie for 30th to start the day and should provide nice upside at low ownership if his form continues. Hudson Swafford ($7,200)Â has also been lights out with the irons this week and should warrant consideration for final round lineups. Also in that price range is Richard Bland($7,200) searching for his first PGA Top 10 in his very first event.
Deep Shots & Other Targets
- Matt Kuchar ($8,800)
- Sahith Theegala ($8,000)
- Denny Mccarthy (8,000)
- Kevin Streelman ($8,900
- Aaron Baddeley ($6,200)
- Brandt Snedeker ($6,600)
