PGA DFS Golf Picks: Round 2 Sentry Tournament of Champions
January golf in Hawaii is bound to make those jealous that live in cold weather climates. Today was a picturesque day with ideal scoring conditions out on Maui, and the best in the world did not disappoint. Viktor Hovland and Brooks Koepka were the second tee time out, and Hovland jumped out to a four-under thru six-hole start as momentum from his stellar fall continued. But a poor shot on the 14th hole cost him two shots and finished the day at that four under. Koepka also had a double on 14 but shot five-under on the day.
Cameron Smith got off to a slow start, bogeying his second hole, but two eagles and five birdies after that had him set the pace at eight under. That score stood for much of the day, even beating out Daniel Berger by one. The last few groups of the day, though, had a few chances to catch Smith, including an eagle look from the No. 1 player in the world, Jon Rahm, to tie and one from Patrick Cantlay to take the lead. Neither made, Rahm tapped in for birdie and Cantlay missed his birdie try, both shooting 66.

Best PGA DFS Golf Picks Today for DraftKings
It sure seems that the golfers teeing off in the morning will have the easier set of conditions as the wind is expected to be blowing at an average rate of 20 miles per hour all afternoon.
- Jon Rahm ($10,100): A long layoff is sometimes all these guys need to recharge their game and spirit. In round one, that is exactly what the best player in the world showcased, with little rust, in route to shooting seven-under 66. In addition to the seven birdies, bogey-free round, Rahm gained strokes in all four facets of the game, looking stellar through the board. There is also a bit of a price discount, something that will not be around long.
- Viktor Hovland ($10,000): If the back nine would have matched the front nine, Hovland would be tied for the lead, but it did not. Still, he looked solid in most parts of his game, except for a few squabbles. He should present a rather safe option for the second round.
- Kevin Na ($6,900): While he gets a bad rap for withdraws, for Na those typically happen pre-tournament. When he is in an event, he normally gives it us all, and when he is in form with his putter and irons, he can hang around the leaderboard all week. After a couple of bogeys to start his round. Kevin turned on the jets and gained almost 2.5 strokes on his approach and just about a half with his putter. If that continues or even improves on the putting side, Na should remain in the top 10 through the week.
- Garrick Higgo ($6,500): Making a name for himself on some of the easier tracks on professional golf, the youngest golfer in the field continues to play well in these types of events. He gained just about 1.5 stories ball striking and added another three-tenths of a shot with his putter. While not outstanding, he showed some great signs while still possibly remaining under the radar for round two showdown contests and keeping ownership on the lower side.
