According to a report, the New York Yankees may act "quickly" in their pursuit of Freddie Freeman after the lockout was finally lifted Thursday

These spotlight hitter picks come directly from the lineups of the #1 player in DFS, Awesemo. Follow him on Twitter for more.

Joc Pederson

FD: $2,400, B points grade, A value
DK: $2,900, B points grade, A value

Pederson provides some much-needed salary relief tonight on a slate where we like to pay up for pitching. Taijuan Walker gave up 33.6% hard-contact and only 13.9% soft-contact to lefties last year, and Joc has hit the ball hard when he’s faced him In six batted-ball events, Joc’s average exit velocity is over 95 MPH, and despite the new humidor in Chase Field, this is some of the best hitting weather on slate for a home-run hunter like Pederson.

Freddie Freeman

FD: $4,800, A points grade, E value
DK: $4,700, A points grade, A value

Freeman may go overlooked at a stacked 1B position tonight with options in virtually every game. He plays in one of the best parks for lefty power, and you won’t have to deal with weather in this game as it looks like the temperature will be around 70 degrees at game time in Atlanta. Freeman’s 39% hard-hit rate and .290 ISO against righties dating back to last year make him a great candidate to go yard against Tanner Roark, who gets himself into trouble against righties with a .356 wOBA since the start of 2017 against them. Freeman is priced up big time on FanDuel, but he’s the top projected bat of the night if you have the extra salary to afford him.

Jed Lowrie

FD: $2,600, B points grade, B value
DK: $3,300, C points grade, A value

Lowrie is another guy that can help you fit in some of the expensive pitchers and hitter on DraftKings, coming in an an A value in the player rankings. Most people don’t think of him as a power hitter, but he posted a 35.1% hard-hit rate with a 45.3% fly-ball rate and .348 wOBA in 2017 against righties. Going up against the soft-tossing Bartolo Colon, who gave up over 40% hard-contact and a 45% fly-ball rate, Lowrie is a great value hitting out of the 3-spot tonight.
