DraftKings and FanDuel NBA Slam Dunks, Monday 3/5

[SlamDunks]
Marcus Smart (4800 DK, 4800 FD) and Terry Rozier (4900 DK, 4500 FD) – Kyrie Irving’s absence opens up a lot of opportunity for the other Celtics, particularly in the backcourt. The Celtics haven’t announced who Irving’s replacement in the starting lineup is, so check for updates as we approach lock. Rozier has been very effective when replacing Irving, notching a triple-double in his first start earlier this year. But Smart has started at PG the three times this season when Irving was out and he was available (he was out for Rozier’s starts). Whoever starts will be a great play, but I’d also recommend some exposure to the other who good easily garner more minutes based on performance and will see lower ownership. Probability of top-3 positional value (assuming Smart starts): Smart 47.4% FD, 30.1% DK; Rozier 38.05%, 25.2% DK.
Larry Nance Jr. (5300 DK, 5800 FD)- The Cavaliers will be extremely thin in the front court tonight with Tristan Thompson, Jeff Green and Kevin Love all remaining out. Nance, as the only big man left standing other than Ante Zizic (and LeBron who could be the league’s best PF if he played there), is going to log very heavy minutes as the Cavs will need to contend with the size of Blake Griffin and Andre Drummond all night long. The nearly 113 implied point total makes this a matchup too good to pass up, especially at Nance’s price tag. Probability of top-3 positional value: 31.0% DK, 30.2% FD.
