C.J. McCollum
FD: $7800 | Fpts: A | Value: A
DK: $7500 | Fpts: A | Value: A
Shabazz Napier
FD: $3500 | Fpts: C | Value: A
DK: $3800 | Fpts: C | Value: A
Evan Turner
FD: $3600 | Fpts: C | Value: A
DK: $3600 | Fpts: C | Value: A
With Damian Lillard out due to the birth of his child, the Blazers backcourt jumps to the top of the Slam Dunks on Wednesday night. In the past, McCollum has seen a significant boost to his usage rate when Lillard has missed time. Tonight’s game should tell a similar story. C.J. grades out as the only player with an A/A ranking on both sites. For Napier and Turner, the combination of increased minutes, usage, and sub $4000 salaries creates two exceptional value plays. With the caveat that the sample size is small, Napier has averaged 36.4 FP in games without Lillard this year.
Marquese Chriss
FD: $4700 | Fpts: C | Value: A
DK: $4300 | Fpts: C | Value: A
In a relatively high paced game, Chriss has the opportunity to capitalize on a price that is still a bit low for his current playing time. Alan Williams will be taking Alex Len’s spot tonight, but that shouldn’t make a difference for Chriss. He’s still in line to see 24+ minutes, which is more than enough time for him to provide value at his price point.
Isaiah Taylor
FD: $3600 | Fpts: C | Value: A
DK: $3800 | Fpts: C | Value: A
Similar to Napier & Turner, Isaiah Taylor is set-up to benefit the most from Dennis Schroder’s injured ankle. Taylor has a bargain basement price for a PG that could see north of 30 minutes. Taylor has averaged 22.3 minutes and 22.4 FP in previous games with Schroder out. With the Hawks tank in full effect, additional minutes are to be expected. Those extra minutes are music to the ears’ of everyone playing NBA DFS tonight.
