So far there hasn’t been any huge news today to build lineups around. Hopefully there will be some more news in between now and lock to gain an edge. What I’m seeing is that the top plays today are people who have assumed larger roles on their teams in recent games.
Dewayne Dedmon (5300 DK, 5800 FD): In the Hawks’ last game, Dedmon started and played 31 minutes, with six shifts in the game. Miles Plumlee got a DNP-CD which opened up more minutes for Dedmon. Today it’s anyone’s guess what their center rotation will be, but I think it’s promising enough to put Dedmon in your lineups. Probability of top 3 positional value: 25.25 DK, 36.95% FD.
Tristan Thompson (4500 DK, 4500 FD): In Cleveland’s first game with their new look roster, Thompson played 27 minutes in the first three quarters. Cleveland looks to be rolling with a 10 man rotation, with Larry Nance Jr. being the other option at center. With 48 minutes being split between those two, with the majority going to Thompson, I think he is in a great spot to produce. Probability of top 3 positional value: 21.6% DK, 42.9% FD.
Serge Ibaka (5000 DK, 5400 FD): Toronto has been on a run of several straight blowouts, and as a result Serge Ibaka has been on a cold streak because of the lack of 4th quarter minutes. His first half minutes have been good in the past few games, so I think he has a good chance to bounce back with a 30 minute game. The matchup isn’t great, but the price is too low here. Probability of top 3 positional value: 23.8% DK, 26.5% FD.
