Top 5 FanDuel NBA DFS Picks Today
5. Luguentz Dort, Oklahoma City Thunder
Priced at $5,700, Dort is projected to score 31.38 points, with an optimal lineup rate of 19%. He is expected to play around 32 minutes with no Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, and he benefits significantly from this absence. Playing against the Sacramento Kings in a pace-up spot, Dort averages 0.98 fantasy points per minute and has a usage rate of 24%. He has been producing 18 points, five rebounds and almost three assists with a little over a stock per game. Dort’s positional flexibility is a bonus, and his price tag makes him a great pick for this scenario.

4. Matisse Thybulle, Portland Trail Blazers
Thybulle may not be the most attractive pick, but he is small forward eligible and could pay off in a FanDuel NBA DFS lineup. Priced at only $4,200, he is projected for 23.5 points, with a goal of 31, and he lands in the optimal lineup 19% of the time. With the need for him to start for the Portland Trail Blazers, he has a lot of minutes on the table, playing 30 minutes in the upcoming game. He averages 0.75 to 0.8 fantasy point per minute, and he is a solid defender who can get stocks like a big man. In the game against Golden State, it is a massive pace-up spot for Portland, which means there could be a lot of opportunities for Thybulle to rack up defensive stats. Although he may not put up huge numbers offensively, his ability to get steals and blocks, paired with his low price, make him a valuable small forward option for this slate.
3. Kyle Kuzma, Washington Wizards
Kuzma is projected to score 39.5 fantasy points, making him a strong pick for Monday’s slate. He is eligible for small forward and power forward and is priced at $7,500, with a goal of 47.5 fantasy points. Kuzma has been in the optimal lineup 22% of the time, and with no Kristaps Porzingis in this game, he has the potential to play more minutes and take more shot attempts. He averages 1.1 fantasy point per minute player and is facing the Atlanta Hawks in a pace-up spot. Kuzma has a 30% usage rate and is averaging 23 real points, 8.5 rebounds, four assists and a steal per game. He also has the multi-position eligibility, which adds value to his pick. With his current price, he is a great value play and a strong pick to consider in Monday’s slate.

2. Dennis Schroder, Los Angeles Lakers
Schroder is projected for 30 points and is priced at just $5,500 in a starting lineup that has LeBron James and D’Angelo Russell out. He plays big-time minutes, and with both absent, Schroder’s usage skyrockets. In a pace-up spot against Memphis, he can expect to have a high average of 0.95 points per minute, which is an excellent rate. He has averaged 16.6 assists, three rebounds and a stock per game, which is a strong showing. Although the defensive matchup may be challenging, his low price makes him an excellent pick with a high ceiling.
1. Talen Horton-Tucker, Utah Jazz
Horton-Tucker is projected for 37 goals and 39.5 fantasy points and has a position eligibility for both shooting guard and small forward, which provides great flexibility. He is also in the optimal lineup 31% of the time. With no Colin Sexton or Jordan Clarkson, Horton-Tucker’s minutes are expected to be safe, projected for 32 minutes with potential for more. He averages 1.2 fantasy points per minute and is going up against the San Antonio Spurs, who are a bad team. This makes for a great matchup, especially with his strong positionality crossing both guard and forward positions. He fills up the stat sheet with 17 points on 23% usage, seven assists, five rebounds and two stocks. With too many guys out and missing post-trade, Horton-Tucker is the clear No. 1 ConTENder for the day.
