Bogdan Bogdanovic
FD: $4400 | Fpts: C | Value: A
DK: $4900 | Fpts: C | Value: C
Despite lacking creative naming talent, Mr. and Mrs. Bogdanovic know how to raise NBA players. Bogdan is in a nice spot to rebound from a loss to big brother Bojan in Bogdanovic Bowl II his last time out, with an pace-up matchup versus the Warriors, the fourth fastest team in the league. Bogdan’s averaged 28 minutes on the season but in his last three he’s averaged almost 34. Expect that to continue with the Kings “youth movement” (ahem*tanking*ahem) in full effect. But note the price differences between the sites–while’s he a top value on FanDuel he’s just okay on DraftKings.
Kevin Durant
FD: $10900 | Fpts: A | Value: B
DK: $10900 | Fpts: A | Value: C
This one is simple. KD is my highest projected player on the slate, and it’s not even close. Klay and Draymond should both be back in the lineup tonight but Steph is still out, and Durant receives the biggest usage bump of the three (30.2 -> 35.2) in games without Steph. The lack of other superstars on this small three-game slate means I’m going to end up with a lot of Durant.
DeMar DeRozan
FD: $7900 | Fpts: B | Value: B
DK: $7400 | Fpts: B | Value: B
Like Durant, this is another play indicative of the lack of high caliber NBA talent on the slate. There aren’t many great ways to spend your money with DeRozan, running-mate Kyle Lowry, Whiteside, Durant and Draymond the only guys over $7500 on FD and $7300 on DK. Other than Durant, I like DeRozan the best of the bunch as his recent cold streak has driven his price down below where it should be. But his usage and minutes have remained solid despite his woeful shooting (40% FG over last 10 games).
