Top 5 FanDuel NBA DFS Picks Today

5. Evan Mobley, Cleveland Cavaliers

Mobley is projected for 39.5 points, just shy of his goal of 40.5, and he is in the optimal lineup 32% of the time. Mobley is expected to play around 39 minutes, possibly more, as the starters on the Cavaliers have been playing massive minutes. He averages approximately 1 fantasy points per minute and a neutral 20% usage, with 16 points, 11 rebounds, three assists and almost three stocks. Playing in a competitive matchup against the New York Knicks away from home, Mobley is expected to have a big game. Additionally, his power forward eligibility increases flexibility dramatically.

4. Mike Conley, Minnesota Timberwolves

Projected for 29 fantasy points, Conley’s goal is 33 and he’s in the optimal lineup 32% of the time, making him a great value at just $6,000. Conley may take a back seat to Karl-Anthony Towns and Anthony Edwards, but he should still put up respectable numbers, with almost 14 points, 5.5 assists and almost four rebounds. While there are a lot of “almosts” in Conley’s stats, when they are combined, he makes for a nice play. Additionally, there’s potential for him to exceed his projected 29 points if he plays a couple more minutes in a competitive matchup.

3. Julius Randle, New York Knicks

Randle projects for 41.5 FanDuel points at a cost of $8,000. He is in the optimal lineup 33% of the time and is expected to play around 37 minutes. With a little over 1.1 fantasy points per minute and a 30% usage rate, Randle is projected to record 23.5 points and 10 rebounds, making him a solid pick for a double-double. While the matchup against Cleveland may be difficult, Randle’s importance to the team makes him a valuable pick, especially in a series where this game is crucial to the Knicks’ advancement.

2. Kyle Anderson, Minnesota Timberwolves

Anderson is listed as a small forward and power forward on FanDuel and is projected to score 28 points at a price tag of $5,800. He is in the optimal lineup 34% of the time and could potentially see more playing time due to issues with Minnesota’s bench. While he may not score a lot of fantasy points, Anderson is expected to hit all statistical categories, with nearly six rebounds, 4.5 assists and two stocks. Anderson’s price has come down from his regular season price and is now a safe play due to his sub-$6,000 price tag and the opportunity for more playing time.

1. Darius Garland, Cleveland Cavaliers

Garland is $7,800 and has a goal of 42 and an optimal lineup rate of 36%. Garland has been playing 40 minutes, and he averages a fantasy point per minute. He has a usage rate of 26% and projects for 21 points, eight assists, three boards and 1.5 stocks. Although there is not a lot of separation between the top 10players, Garland looks great and is a player to build around given his fantastic minutes and price tag. While it could end up being a Donovan Mitchell day, Garland is the best option for right now.
