High-End Tier

Stephen Curry ($9,600) has the highest projection on the slate despite a somewhat tough matchup against a New Orleans Pelicans team ranked fifth in defensive rating and 14th in pace. Curry is projected for 13% ownership with a 27% chance of booming and a 14% chance of optimality, per the Stokastic Boom/Bust Tool.

Trae Young ($9,100) has a great leverage score, as the field will be scared away by a tough matchup with a Cleveland Cavaliers team that has the best defensive rating in the league and plays at the slowest pace. Young is projected for 7% ownership with a 20% chance of booming and a 14% chance of optimality.

Mid-Tier

Josh Giddey ($8,200) and the Oklahoma City Thunder will be without Shai Gilgeous-Alexander as they take on a Charlotte Hornets team ranked sixth in pace and 20th in defensive rating.

Tyus Jones ($5,300) has the best value score on the slate, as he is expected to start in place of Ja Morant against the Orlando Magic. Jones is projected for 65% ownership with a 52% chance of booming and a 53% chance of optimality.

Nick Richards ($4,700) should start and play big minutes with Mark Williams out against a Thunder team that plays at the second-fastest pace. Richards is projected for 56% ownership with a 44% chance of booming and a 39% chance of optimality.

Desmond Bane ($7,300) has seen his price drop since Morant’s return. He now has a nice value score with Morant sitting. Bane is projected for 35% ownership with a 36% chance of booming and a 31% chance of optimality.

Bam Adebayo ($7,500) has great leverage and value scores against the Raptors. He will project even better if Jimmy Butler, who was downgraded from probable to questionable on the injury report, gets ruled out. Adebayo is currently projected for 13% ownership with a 26% chance of booming and a 21% chance of optimality.

Value Tier

Kai Jones ($3,000) should see extended run as Richards’ backup for the Hornets with Williams out. Jones is projected for 7% ownership with a 9% chance of booming and a 16% chance of optimality.

Isaiah Joe ($4,400) might start and should play extra minutes for the Thunder with Gilgeous-Alexander out. Joe is projected for 13% ownership with a 16% chance of booming and a 23% chance of optimality.

Aaron Wiggins ($3,000) also has a nice leverage score for the Thunder. Wiggins is projected for just 2% ownership with a 4% chance of booming and a 10% chance of optimality.
