NFL DFS: Stokastic Pro Ends NFL Season Strong with $100K DraftKings Win | How Stokastic Sims Got Him There

What a way to close the NFL regular season. For the second time in as many weeks, Stokastic CEO Tom Kennedy used our revolutionary Sims tools to bag six figures on DraftKings, this time with a five-way chop on the $300,000-to-first Showdown NFL DFS contest. Tom took second in the NBA DFS Milly Maker a couple of weeks back, so alongside Stokastic Sims, he is on a real heater heading into the NFL postseason.

Let’s dive into Tom’s first-place lineup that nabbed him $100,000 — and the Stokastic tools that helped him get there.

Winning DraftKings NFL DFS Lineup & Strategy

This was a pretty low-scoring slate — and it didn’t take a great deal of expertise to guess that Josh Allen, Tyreek Hill and Stefon Diggs were going to be popular. The big questions were: A) Which of them to make captain, and B) how to fill out the rest of the lineup if going with all three.

Well, Tom’s choice to go with Allen at captain was the chalk play, with 22.7% opting to captain him. That said, it was the right move, as Allen at captain dropped 43.59 fantasy points despite a pair of interceptions and a fumble, while Hill’s and Diggs’ outputs were slightly more muted. Having Allen in the lineup rather than Tua Tagovailoa was also a must since the latter busted completely.

With Tagovailoa only throwing for 173 yards — compared to 359 for Allen — going all Bills aside from Hill was the prudent choice. And the three Tom chose all boomed relative to their salaries. Dalton Kincaid and Khalil Shakir both caught at least six passes, and Shakir went over 100 yards receiving, so despite having some ownership, they were well worth it for their middling salaries.

The last spot, however, is where Tom found separation from most of the field, and it was thanks in large part to a fortunate bounce. Trent Sherfield scored 11.4 fantasy points at just $200 salary as a pure punt play, and he flew by his projections thanks to a great catch in the end zone on a deflected pass.

It was an outlier, freak-of-nature play that probably contributed most to Tom’s win on this particular slate, but that’s the Stokastic Sims difference — it helps you find both cashable and high-variance, high-upside lineups that on any given night can pop huge and earn you those five- and six-figure paydays.
