NFL Monday Night Football DFS Picks: Eagles at Packers (Week 10)

Last week, the Packers saw their three-game winning streak end in an embarrassing 16-13 loss in Green Bay to the Carolina Panthers. The team (5-2-1) has a half-game lead on Detroit (6-3) while also holding the tiebreaker. Philadelphia (6-2) has the second-best record in the NFC, and if they win tonight, the Eagles will be tied with the Seattle Seahawks (7-2).

Tonight essentially projects as a coinflip, with the Packers having a 1.0-point edge at home in a game with a 45.5 total. This means there is ample DFS strategy to consider. In this edition of the Stokastic’s NFL DFS picks series, we’ll provide our Eagles-Packers Week 10 MNF DFS plays for the NFL Showdown action from Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wis.

NFL DFS Picks for Monday Night Football Week 10: Jalen Hurts

Jalen Hurts

DFS Salary
DraftKings: $11,000

$13,200
Fantasy Points
DraftKings:
19.21
FanDuel: 19.02

Jalen Hurts is going to have his work cut out for him on Monday Night Football as the Green Bay defense gets help from the weather, with game-time temperatures dipping below freezing at Lambeau Field. Only two quarterbacks recorded more than 250 passing yards against the Packers, though five had multi-touchdown games.

Fortunately for Hurts, A.J. Brown will be back after missing last week with a hamstring issue, and Saquon Barkley (groin) was a full participant in practice to end the week. Having help will be key for Hurts, who is averaging a pedestrian 209.6 passing yards per game, though that is above his 193.5 from last season.

Efficiency is the name of the game for Hurts when he takes to the air, boasting a 15-1 touchdown to interception ratio and a league-leading 0.5% interception rate. He is connecting on a career-high 70.2% of his pass attempts, which is just outside the top 25 for a single season.

The real fantasy production for Hurts comes via rushing touchdowns, though he has just five through eight games, which is pacing for his lowest total since becoming a full-time starter in 2021. His 25.9 rushing yards per game are the fewest of his career, but outside of the two losses, Philadelphia has not had too many close games.

On a fun note, the Packers were the team that was leading the effort to ban the “Tush Push” this offseason.

Philadelphia Eagles Positional Preview

Running Back | Eagles-Packers NFL DFS Picks for MNF Week 10

The bye week came at a good time for Barkley, who strained his groin in the Week 8 matchup against his former team. Last year he led the league with 345 carries, 2,005 rushing yards and 125.3 rushing yards per game, along with 378 total touches and 2,283 yards from scrimmage. This year he is averaging only 64.9 rushing yards per game on six fewer attempts per tilt, scoring six combined touchdowns. In six of the eight games this season, the 28-year-old rushed for 60 or fewer yards, with just under 20 receiving yards each contest.

Looking at the OddsShopper Live Odds page, Barkley is -105 for over 99.5 rushing + receiving yards and +135 to score a touchdown. In a cold and competitive game against a defense that is going to take away downfield passes, it makes sense to count on Barkley for a workload that is significantly higher than most of his outings this year.

After acquiring Tank Bigsby from Jacksonville after Week 1 for fifth- and sixth-round selections in the 2026 NFL Draft, the Eagles surprisingly relegated him to special teams and kickoff returns. In Week 7 he was on the field for his first offensive action with Philadelphia, playing on four snaps and then getting in for 16 plays the following game, rolling up 104 yards on nine carries in relief of Barkley. This coincided with A.J. Dillon not stepping between the lines for either game after averaging around eight plays in the preceding six tilts.

Second-year running back Will Shipley is usually on the field for half a dozen offensive plays each game, though he has just seven carries and four targets this season.

Green Bay is allowing only 89.4 rushing yards per game, which is the second fewest in the league. Rico Dowdle did roll up 130 yards on 25 carries last week, becoming the first rusher to clear the century mark this season. Though it is a tough matchup, expectations are that the game should be close throughout, which bodes well for Barkley.

Wide Receiver | Eagles-Packers NFL DFS Picks for MNF Week 10

The Packers are incredibly stingy against the pass, with George Pickens (11 targets for 8/134/2), Ja’Marr Chase (12 targets for 10/94/1) and Roman Wilson (5 targets for 4/74/1) the only wideouts to tally more than 67 yards.

DeVonta Smith had nine or more targets in four of the last six games, including Week 8 when Brown was out. This duo will likely be on the field for nearly 90% of the offensive action, and they are the two leading target earners. Each wideout has two games of 100-plus yards and another with 80-plus. Across the last four games, Jahan Dotson had seven targets and Xavier Gipson had one.

The matchup is tough, and the overall volume is down this season, but we have seen enough primetime games to know Brown and Smith are both capable of slate-breaking performances.

The Stokastic NFL DFS stat projections have Brown for 7.5 targets and Smith for 6.5, along with each player projecting for a 30% probability to find pay dirt. Smith is 10th in the league with 73.5 receiving yards per game. The narrative for the season is that Brown is having a down year, though that is more about not producing in perceived good matchups. It is a down year, but Brown has absurdly high expectations, having made Second-Team All-NFL each of the last three seasons.

Tight End | Eagles-Packers NFL DFS Picks for MNF Week 10

Dallas Goedert is third on the team with 39 targets, though he caught seven of Hurts’ 15 touchdown passes. He has just two games of more than 40 yards and three or fewer receptions in four of his seven games. We know he has a great rapport with Hurts, but the overall low-volume passing game removed the floor from all pass-catchers on the Eagles.

Grant Calcaterra missed Weeks 6 and 7; however, he was on the field for 63% of the snaps in Week 8. He has only seven targets on the season, with former Indianapolis Colt Kylen Granson earning a pair of targets, though none since the second game of the season.

Kicker | Eagles-Packers NFL DFS Picks for MNF Week 10

Jake Elliott is no stranger to kicking outdoors; however, he disappointed over the last season and change with a 77.8% success rate on his field goals after being named Second-Team All-NFL in 2023. It is going to be cold in Wisconsin tonight, but the forecast has minimal wind.

Defense | Eagles-Packers NFL DFS Picks for MNF Week 10

Philadelphia is averaging only two sacks per game, which is the fifth fewest in the league. The Packers gave up just 11 sacks through eight games, the third best for the season. There is not much on the turnover front, with the Eagles managing only seven takeaways through eight tilts and Green Bay suffering three interceptions and two fumbles.

NFL DFS Picks for Monday Night Football Week 10: Josh Jacobs

Josh Jacobs

DFS Salary
DraftKings: $10,600
FanDuel:
$12,600
Fantasy Points
DraftKings:
20.94
FanDuel: 20.76

Volume is key for DFS, and Josh Jacobs is heavily involved, averaging 17.6 carries and 3.5 targets per tilt. He saw 20-plus opportunities in six of the eight games, ranking 15th with 66.8 rushing yards per game, just ahead of Barkley.

Jacobs is second with 10 touchdowns on the season, scoring a touchdown in seven of eight games. Nine different running backs put up 50-plus combined yards against Green Bay, and Jacobs should add his name to the list tonight. He also had four or more red zone opportunities in each game, adding to a solid baseline. The only minor concern is that the soon-to-be 28-year-old is managing a calf issue, though he is not on the injury report.

Emanuel Wilson played on one-third of the snaps over the last three games, getting seven targets and 23 carries. He also had nine red zone opportunities in this timeframe, though he is yet to score this season. Chris Brooks should at least be on the field for a handful of plays and potentially see a target or two.

Green Bay Packers Positional Preview

Quarterback | Eagles-Packers NFL DFS Picks for MNF Week 10

Similar to Hurts, Jordan Love has been efficient this season, tossing 13 touchdowns and only three interceptions. He ranks sixth with his 72.5 QBR and seventh with a 107.9 passer rating. This is only his third season as a starter, and tonight will be just his 42 regular season game under center. The 27-year-old is averaging a career-high 258.9 passing yards per game, and he already has three fourth quarter comebacks. He attempted 37 passes each of the last two games, with 30-plus in four of his eight appearances.

Love is mobile in the pocket, though he does not run often, averaging 3.3 carries for 13.8 yards per game this season, and he had just one rushing touchdown in his last 24 regular season starts. Only three opposing quarterbacks topped 200 yards against Philadelphia, and Love is likely to clear that mark with his 239.6 projected passing yards.

Wide Receivers | Eagles-Packers NFL DFS Picks for MNF Week 10

Christian Watson made his debut in Week 8 after suffering an ACL injury at the end of the regular season last year. He was limited in practice this week, though he is expected to be available tonight. Rookie Matthew Golden is dealing with a shoulder issue, and he did not practice Friday or Saturday. Malik Heath is also questionable due to a hip injury, and Dontayvion Wicks (knee) missed the last two games and was only a limited practice participant this week.

Considering the loss of Tucker Kraft and Jayden Reed (shoulder/foot) being out, everything is pointing towards Romeo Doubs to be a key factor in the passing game tonight. Doubs leads the team with 52 targets, racking up 41 in his last five games. His four touchdowns already match his total from last year, and 26 of his 34 receptions resulted in first downs. Remember last October when the team suspended Doubs for a game because he chose to not show up for practice and meetings without any communication to the team? Yeah, that really happened, and it feels like it was a lifetime ago.

Rookie Savion Williams could be in line for a larger role, depending on who is available. There are so many moving parts for this position, it is worth tuning into the Stokastic MNF Live Before Lock Show at 7:15 p.m. ET for all of the up-to-date DFS analysis and information.

Tight End | Eagles-Packers NFL DFS Picks for MNF Week 10

Luke Musgrave was the 42nd selection in the 2023 NFL Draft out of Oregon State. He played just 18 games in his first two seasons due to injuries, which helped Tucker Kraft (the 78th selection in that same draft) carve out a strong role. Now that Kraft is done for the season, Musgrave will have a chance to shine. Though he has only 10 targets this season, the Stokastic NFL DFS stat projections have him earmarked for 4.3 targets, 3.2 catches and 31.4 receiving yards, with a 25% probability of scoring a touchdown.

He is a desirable discount dandy on both DraftKings ($5,400, 27.1%) and FanDuel ($5,200, 26.2%). Kraft averaged a 90%-plus snap rate prior to his injury, with Musgrave usually on the field for 30% to 40% of the action. Musgrave is likely to move up to an 80% play participation rate, and blocking tight end John FitzPatrick should ostensibly increase from 30% to around 50%, though he has only two targets in the last five games.

Kicker | Eagles-Packers NFL DFS Picks for MNF Week 10

Brandon McManus has had a rough season, missing a couple of games with a leg injury and also whiffing on four of his 16 field goal attempts, while another was blocked. The team is sticking with him, though he is clearly on the hot seat in a cold weather game.

Defense | Eagles-Packers NFL DFS Picks for MNF Week 10

Despite the addition of Micah Parsons, Green Bay has only five takeaways this season, and Philadelphia is stingy with one interception and two lost fumbles. The Packers are averaging 2.8 sacks per game, while the Eagles cede 3.1 each matchup.

  1. Jalen Hurts: Hurts so Good!
  2. Josh Jacobs: Has the coveted “bell cow” role.
  3. Saquon Barkley: Not as dominant as last year, but still a threat to go to the house on any play.
  4. Romeo Doubs: He will have the full attention of the defense, though the volume is enticing.
  5. DeVonta Smith: Provides as $1,200 discount to Brown on FanDuel.
  6. A.J. Brown: Looked like he was on the cusp of a breakout prior to his injury.
  7. Luke Musgrave: Enjoy the savings.
  8. Jordan Love: Only three games with more than 20 fantasy points, but two of those were in the low-30s.
  9. Jake Elliott: Seems recovered from the yips, though he is merely pedestrian this season.
  10. Green Bay DST: The fans should be crazy tonight!

Secondary Options

  1. Brandon McManus: Confidence is low, but he still has the job for now.
  2. Christian Watson: Expected to play; depending on how many Green Bay wideouts are missing, he could move up above Elliott.
  3. Dallas Goedert: He is getting the touchdowns; volume is sparse.

Lottery Tickets

  1. Dontayvion Wicks, Matthew Golden, Malik Heath and Savion Williams: Two could miss or all could be available; we need to see the inactive list.
  2. Tank Bigsby: Looks to be the RB2 now.
  3. Emanuel Wilson: Is the RB2 for his team, though mostly gets low-leverage touches.
  4. Philadelphia DST: Will need a touchdown to be relevant.
  5. Jahan Dotson: Should see a couple of targets, but the 16th overall selection by Washington in the 2022 NFL Draft has had a disappointing career. Also returns punts.
  6. John FitzPatrick, Grant Calcaterra, Will Shipley and Chris Brooks: Each will see action; collectively, this motley crew projects for 4.1 offensive opportunities. Shipley returns kickoffs with Bigsby.
  7. A.J. Dillon: How great would it be for a “Remember Me?!” touchdown on a tush push.
  8. Josh Whyle, Xavier Gipson, Darius Cooper, Kylen Granson and Cameron Latu: Meh.
