Top NFL DFS Value Plays

Evan Engram – $4,600

Engram is third on the Jaguars in route participation at 78.1% and second in targets with 14 over the past two weeks. Engram has a great matchup with a Bengals defense that has given up the third-most schedule-adjusted fantasy points per game to tight ends over the past five weeks. Engram’s projection of 12.73 fantasy points makes him the best point-per-dollar play in Stokastic’s OwnersBox NFL DFS projections.

Joe Mixon – $5,000

Mixon had 24 carries and seven targets over the past two games. The Jaguars have given up the 15th-most schedule-adjusted fantasy points per game to running backs over the past five weeks. With a projection of 12.60 fantasy points, Mixon is the third-best point-per-dollar play on the slate.

Tee Higgins – $4,800

Higgins has had a disappointing season, missing four games already and putting up just 71.8 PPR fantasy points in the seven games he has played. Still, when he’s active, Higgins operates as the Bengals’ No. 2 receiver, with a 19% target share on the season. Whether Jake Browning can support even one stud receiver, let alone two, remains to be seen. But the price is right for Higgins this week, as his projection of 8.88 fantasy points makes him the eighth-best value tonight.

Zay Jones – $4,000

Jones has been injured for much of the season, but over the past two weeks he is fourth on the Jaguars in route participation and targets at 64.4% and seven, respectively. The Bengals have given up the 16th-most schedule-adjusted fantasy points per game to wide receivers over the past five weeks. Jones’ projection of 7.4 fantasy points makes him the ninth-best value on the slate.

Tyler Boyd – $4,200

Boyd is second on the Bengals in route participation and targets this season at 82.1% and 70, but he should move back to his role as the third receiver with Higgins returning. Boyd has run 86.9% of his routes from the slot this season, and the Jaguars have given up the seventh-most schedule-adjusted fantasy points per game to slot receivers over the past five weeks. Boyd’s projection of 7.08 fantasy points makes him the 11th-best value on the slate.
