The SuperFlex format on OwnersBox NFL DFS makes it extremely important to get quarterbacks and their stacking partners correct since you’re likely to be rostering two players from the position. SuperFlex DFS also causes the best DFS plays at quarterback to be higher owned, but when the value is there it can be hard to fade.
OwnersBox NFL DFS Strategy: Top Quarterbacks
Given the importance of finding standout QBs, let’s take a look at the best quarterbacks for NFL Week 9 using Stokastic’s custom OwnersBox NFL DFS projections.
OwnersBox DFS Quarterback Plays
Jalen Hurts, $7,600
Hurts has the highest projection and he is the fourth-highest point-per-dollar play on the entire slate. Hurts has a tough matchup against a Cowboys defense ranked 3rd in pass DVOA, but that is factored into his projection. Hurts has solid stacking partners at varying price points in A.J. Brown ($7,400), DeVonta Smith ($5,900), and Dallas Goedert ($4,500).
Lamar Jackson, $7,500
Jackson has the second-highest projection and he is the fourth-highest point-per-dollar play on the slate. Jackson has a decent matchup with a Seahawks defense ranked 19th in pass DVOA. He has a couple of nice stacking options in Mark Andrews ($5,600) and Zay Flowers ($5,500).
Mac Jones, $5,600
Jones has the fifth-best value score on the slate. He has a great matchup against a Commanders defense that was already ranked 30th in pass DVOA, and now traded away Montez Sweat and Chase Young. Two of Jones’ best stacking options are also the two best values on the entire slate, in Demario Douglas ($4,100) and Rhamondre Stevenson ($5,100).
Derek Carr, $6,000
Carr has an elite matchup against a Bears defense ranked 31st in pass DVOA. He also has great pairing options in Chris Olave ($5,900), Michael Thomas ($4,800), and Alvin Kamara ($7,200).
