F.A.Q.

What are duplicate lineups in Showdown DFS Slates?

In daily fantasy sports (DFS), a “duplicate lineup” refers to a lineup that has been entered into a contest by multiple users. In some cases, this may be done intentionally by users who are trying to gain an advantage by increasing their chances of winning a prize. However, in other cases, it may simply be a result of multiple users independently arriving at the same lineup without realizing it.

Why should you avoid lineup duplication in Showdown DFS slates?

There are several reasons why you should avoid using duplicate lineups in showdown DFS slates. First and foremost, it is generally considered to be unethical, as it gives you an unfair advantage over other players who are not using duplicate lineups. Additionally, many DFS sites have rules against using duplicate lineups, and you may be disqualified from a contest or even banned from the site if you are caught doing so. Furthermore, using duplicate lineups can also be counterproductive, as it reduces your overall diversity and increases your risk of losing money. Overall, it is generally best to avoid using duplicate lineups in DFS.
