The Warriors saw the season debut of Klay Thompson go rather well in just 20 minutes of action. They beat the Cavaliers, and Thompson fit in well with his teammates as they did everything to get him the ball. Thompson should get the same number of minutes in Memphis, plus there will be no Draymond Green, so expect some heavy lifting for Stephen Curry. Golden State should lean on Andrew Wiggins a little more on offense, but they lose a lot on defense without Green. Memphis has won nine straight, as Ja Morant continues to spark this team. Steven Adams could return to help their frontcourt, but Memphis continues to deal with COVID as Dillon Brooks remains out. Star power is in full effect for this one in Memphis, so expect the brightest ones to stand out the most.
Let’s head to OddsShopper and find the best return on some player props and the game itself. The site is 100% free to use and offers Awesemo’s projections, the best return and which book to place the wager.

Best Warriors vs. Grizzlies NBA Bets Today & Odds Shopping
The easiest place to find the best bets in the NBA is on the one-stop shop for value and where to place a wager. The best part is the tool is free and easy to use. Simply filter, sort the page and find the best return available across all books.
Grizzlies +2.5 (-110, Caesars)
OddsShopper can provide the best odds on games just as much as they can with player props. Caesars has an extra point, as opposed to the rest of the books sitting at +1.5. There is not any more juice at +2.5 than +1.5, which continues to illustrate the importance of using OddsShopper before placing any wager. The Grizzlies are coming off a high-scoring win over the Lakers where Morant was not the key piece, something the Grizzlies needed to see in order to beat better teams. Golden State is still not fully back and will not be until Thompson returns. Missing Green on defense will be the difference against Memphis tonight.
Klay Thompson Under 15.5 Points (-110, DraftKings)
The minutes for Thompson will come in four- to five-minute bursts. His teammates went out of their way to feed him against the Cavaliers, but do not expect the same luxury against Memphis. Thompson can still knock down a couple of 3’s in his time on the floor tonight, but it is going to be tough to get anything more than 12 to 13 points. Awesemo has Thompson projected for 12.9, and OddsShopper has the under at an expected win rate of 67%. The expected ROI for this is a little lower at 28% because of the possibility of more 3’s from Thompson, but this is about playing the minutes restriction tonight.
Ja Morant Under 25.5 Points (-104, FanDuel)
This comes with some risk that Morant could explode on anyone for 35 points, but he has started to slow down. Granted, he has one of those games in him every night, but it is a little more difficult of a pathway to lighting up the best defensive team in the NBA. While the Warriors are down Green, they still have tight defense on the perimeter, making it harder for anyone on Memphis to shoot. Morant will be active, but life is a little harder against the Warriors. Awesemo has Morant projected for 23 points, and OddsShopper has an expected win rate of 62% and an expected ROI of 22%. The good news is that both the Grizzlies winning and Morant held to 23 points can co-exist.

Kevon Looney Over 7.5 Rebounds (-105, FanDuel)
OddsShopper gives a fantastic return at just under even money for Kevon Looney dominating the glass. To be fair, Awesemo has him projected for 8.8 rebounds, but that is enough to pound this prop into oblivion. The Grizzlies are still dealing with injury up front and are not as strong without Adams, even with his return it is not enough to keep Looney away from the boards. While his 18 rebounds against the Cavaliers were outlier material, he was over the 7.5 in the previous game against New Orleans. OddsShopper gives this prop a 65% chance of going over but makes even more sense with a limited Memphis group of rebounders.
Klay Thompson 4+ 3-Pointers (+190, FanDuel)
The one thing bettors can count on for Thompson in his limited minutes is he is going to shoot from 3. He hit three in his debut and should see a consistent number of shots. The Warriors need him to be sharp from outside more than anything on offense. There will not be many nights where Thompson returns nearly 2-to-1 on hitting four 3-pointers. It is not a typical big payout of most Long Distance Launch plays but still good enough with the Warriors getting Thompson so many looks.
