Aaron Nola finds himself at the top of the PrizePicks pick’em entry after two marvelous starts this postseason. He’s struck out 12 batters in 12.2 innings pitched against some of the most composed offenses in baseball. He’s back at home tonight, where he’s cashed this pick’em in 12 of 16 and will look to help jump start the Phillies to a 2-0 series lead.

Zack Wheeler made quick work of the Arizona Diamondbacks, especially in the strikeout department. He fanned eight batters before the Phillies had to use three of their bullpen arms. Aaron Nola is no Zack Wheeler, but he’s proven to be one of the best number two starters in baseball in the last few seasons. With an over/under of 15.5 outs and the vig on the over, Nola will have a prime opportunity to surpass five strikeouts.

Evan Longoria O/U 0.5 Hits

The veteran Evan Longoria is familiar with playing in this stadium. He was one of the last three outs in the 2008 World Series between the Tampa Bay Rays and Philadelphia Phillies. 15 years later, Longoria is back hitting at the bottom of the lineup, where he has the potential of being pulled from the game like he was last night.

Longoria’s splits against RHP have left cause for concern for the Diamondbacks. He hit just .215 in the regular season but has put together four hits this postseason – three of those hits coming off RHP.

Longoria was pulled in the 7th inning last night due to the Phillies going to high-velocity Seranthony Dominguez. If the Phillies go to Jeff Hoffman or another RHP in the bullpen, don’t be surprised to see Longoria take a seat on the bench.
