There’s not a ton of value currently on today’s slate. Aaron Gordon remains out but both sites have accounted for his absence in their pricing of Orlando players. Other than that, no major injury news has come down today. But that could change in the next few hours with several high usage players–Victor Oladipo, Myles Turner and Darren Collison–all designated “questionable” for the Pacers. Be sure to keep track of that situation.
Dwight Powell (3700 DK, 4800 FD): The major value in tonight’s slate, Powell, is frighteningly inconsistent but his value expectation is just too good to pass up on. A career bench player, he was inserted into Dallas’ starting lineup two games ago and has been decent, achieving 8x+ value in his last showing. With the Mavs going up against the Clippers and DeAndre Jordan tonight, I expect him to draw the start again, which makes him a potential lock-button candidate on DK and strong play on FD.  % Top-3 Value: 40.6% DK, 26.9% FD.
Zach Lavine (6600 DK, 7400 FD) and Robin Lopez (4600 DK, 4400 FD): Lavine and Lopez should both benefit from Mirotic’s recent departure leaving them with more touches and scoring opportunities and in the case of Lopez additional front court minutes.  Lavine should also see additional minutes as he was being eased back following his return from injury. While his minutes were previously capped in the mid-20s, he was on the floor for 31 minutes, indicating he’s ready to make a full return. The continued absence of his backcourt running mate Kris Dunn doesn’t hurt either.   % Top-3 Value: Lavine 27.4% DK, 19.8% FD; Lopez 18.3% DK; 35.5% FD.
Good luck!
