Pau Gasol (5500 DK, 6500 FD) – Pau Gasol has been having a very productive season so far – when he’s on the court. A lot of the time his minutes are inconsistent, especially when the Spurs are playing a back-to-back. This seems like the perfect storm of factors where you want to play him. The Spurs aren’t on a b2b, Lamarcus Aldridge is out, freeing up minutes at center for him, and they are playing the Lakers so their team total is much higher than their season average. Probability of top 3 positional value: 45.9% DK, 48.25% FD.

Mario Chalmers (4500 DK) – Last night with Andrew Harrison ruled out, Chalmers played 34 minutes. Tonight Harrison is ruled out again, so I expect Chalmers to play significantly more minutes than average. With Marc Gasol ruled out, I expect Chalmers to have more usage tonight than normal as well. This game is only on the main slate for Draftkings, but I’m going to have him a ton on there. Probability of top 3 positional value: 37.1% DK.

Lonzo Ball (6600 DK, 7000 FD) and Isaiah Thomas (5500 DK, 6100 FD) – With Josh Hart out due to injury, Ball and Thomas got 34 and 30 minutes respectively in the Lakers’ last game. Although the Spurs are typically a tough defensive team, sportsbooks have the Lakers projected for only 2 points fewer than their season average, reflecting the absence of Kawhi Leonard and LaMarcus Aldridge from the Spurs tonight. Now that Ingram is out for tonight, I expect Thomas and Ball to be in even better spots to produce tonight. Probability of top 3 positional value: Ball – 17% DK, 27.5% FD. Thomas 22.9% DK, 25.9% FD.

Alex is better known to fantasy players by his handle "Awesemo" from seeing him in every big tournament in the industry. Playing poker professionally from 2009-2015, he heard that daily fantasy was the next big game picking up steam, and he quickly saw the potential of the relatively new game. Growing his bankroll from 2015-2016, he made a big step in 2017 by claiming the #1 overall ranking on RotoGrinders for the year. After completing his primary objective, he was looking for what's next. Attending dozens of fantasy events, Alex realized that everyone was repeating the same story: wanting to be a great DFS player while holding down a full-time job. He realized that the resources available to fantasy players while great weren't enough to help hobbyists get to the level of competing with the top pros. Having met Tom Kennedy during the FanDuel Scottish Open, the two decided to take on the realm of fantasy content along with co-founder Eddie Lai. Alex creates his own projections for each sport he plays, publishing rankings derived directly from them updated for each major slate. He also writes strategy content for how to become a better DFS player in his Game Plan series. You can contact Alex by emailing [email protected].
