It is Game 7 time! The Celtics have won three straight to even the series, and now the Heat have their backs to the wall. NBA Player PrizePicks | May 29
Bam Adebayo More Than 35.0 Fantasy Points
This should be labeled as a taco — the difference in Stokastic projection and PrizePicks projection is even greater than the typical taco. Adebayo played 46 minutes in Game 6, and at a very minimum he projects for 40 minutes tonight. Using that (low) projection as a baseline, he still averages a fantasy point per minute and will get a ton of usage since this is Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals. Stokastic has him at 46.3 fantasy points today, and PrizePicks has him as if he is playing mid-30s minutes.
A more accurate minutes projection is in the 44 range, and if he gets 35.5 fantasy points, that is only 0.81 fantasy points per minute. That is not even close to his real rate. Not putting this more play on a bunch of NBA PrizePicks cards is simply leaving money on the table at this point.
Marcus Smart More Than 19.5 Points + Assists
Malcolm Brogdon did not play last game, and he is not going to suddenly be healthy tonight. Even if he gets into the rotation, he is not going to get a lot of time. Smart projects for 40 minutes as a result. The Celtics have won three straight with Smart playing a lot of minutes, so they are likely going to stick with what has been working. This feels like a big Smart game in a win-or-go-home situation.
Stokastic projects Smart for 21.8 points + assists, well above the 19.5 mark. Smart also works a fantasy score, points + rebounds + assists or straight points play, but with his assist numbers high and the minutes projected to be there, the points + assists more gets the nod here.
These are just two of the +EV plays on the NBA PrizePicks slate. Stokastic’s Pick’Em Pro has 29 more plays with more than a 50% expected win rate! Check them out HERE.
