NHL DFS Picks & Top Stacks | March 14
Top Stacks
Dallas Stars Line 1 (Joe Pavelski – Roope Hintz – Jason Robertson)
The Stars top line is an excellent option for NHL DFS. It has great five-on-five numbers and is fully correlated on the top power play unit. The Stars are projected to score 3.4 goals against the Canucks, who have struggled defensively. The Top Stacks Tool gives this line a 10% chance of being a top-2 stack but is only expected for around 4% ownership, making it a great primary option in DraftKings tournaments.
Los Angeles Kings Line 2 (Trevor Moore – Phillip Danault – Viktor Arvidsson)
This is another strong option, with under 5% ownership in the Top Stacks Tool. The Kings second line is fully correlated on the same power play unit and is projected to face the Brock Nelson line for the Islanders. Although the kings have a modest home total of 2.9 goals, this will keep them low owned in GPPs.

Defensemen
Matt Grzelcyk ($3,400), Boston Bruins
Grzelcyk is an excellent option coming off a great performance (1 goal, 1 assist) on Saturday. He is projected to see top-pair minutes again tonight with Charlie McAvoy and is one of the top value defensemen in Stokastic’s NHL DFS projections.
Josh Brown ($2,800), Arizona Coyotes
Brown provides a nice floor for a cheap price. He has been playing around 20 minutes per game lately and has a great opportunity for blocks tonight against the Flames, who have been peppering opponents with shot attempts this season.
Goalie
Jonathan Quick ($7,900), Vegas Golden Knights
Quick is coming off back-to-back wins and is projected for 27-plus saves tonight according to Stokastic’s NHL DFS projections. Quick’s opponent, the Philadelphia Flyers, have a 2.6 implied goal total, one of the lowest on the slate, making Quick an excellent option for DFS players.
