We finally have our first 2-game playoff hockey slate. 2-gamers can be tricky, but with pricing being very soft of DraftKings again, my advice would be to leave some salary on the table in tournaments in order to differentiate yourself. Here a couple stacks we’re looking at for tonight in tournaments with Awesemo weighing in first, followed by analysis by myself (Tommienation1).
BOS2: DeBrusk-Krejci-Nash ($14,100 DK/$16,500 FD)
“The Bruins once again have an implied total over 3 tonight and this line provides some nice savings on DraftKings.”
The 2nd line for Boston (“A” DK value) will see a lot of the Auston Matthews line at even-strength (as they avoid BOS1), which has allowed 30 shot attempts and 12 Scoring Chances in 21 minutes. DeBrusk, Krejci, and Nash have posted a 57.9 Corsi For Percentage in their 30 minutes at even-strength this series. If you are looking to get exposure to the Bruins outside of their top line, drop down to the 2nd line and load up on the WSH-CBJ game instead.
WSH1: Ovechkin-Kuznetsov-Wilson ($17,700 DK/$20,100 FD)
“The top line for the Capitals will see big minutes tonight down 2-1 in the series, including top power-play time from Ovechkin and Kuznetsov.”
This line (“A” points grade) has been one of the most dominant in all of the playoffs, posting a 60.6 Corsi For Percentage, 21 Scoring Chances, and 9 High-Danger Chances in 3 games. They should get a hard-match once again against CBJ1, which has been very leaky defensively, allowing 26 Scoring Chances Against and 14 High-Danger Chances Against so far. If you want to leave Wilson off because he doesn’t get power-play time, paying up for John Carlson is a great way to get full PP correlation for this stack tonight.
