When a player of Booker’s caliber only plays 25 minutes, that leaves the door wide open for other players to take more shot attempts just like Jae Crowder did in Game 2 against the New Orleans Pelicans. Crowder took 11 shots from the field but only made two of them and scored just five points. He averaged 9.2 points on the season and that is even though Crowder did not even average 10 field goal attempts per game. He shot 34% from 3 and should have an opportunity to shoot four or five times from that distance tonight. The Suns will require all their role players to step up and help chip in for Booker’s absence in what suddenly is a critical Game 3 in the series.
