Pros of SugarHouse Sportsbook
Sports Offered
SugarHouse Sportsbook provides options for all major sports. From NFL to tennis and UFC to darts, the book has options available.
Bet Options
You are able to place the simple bets, like moneyline, point total and picks against the spread. SugarHouse also has props and live betting available for you to explore and bet in various ways
Rewards Program
SugarHouse has a rewards or loyalty program called iRush Rewards. The rewards points are given on real money bets, which can be redeemed for bonuses, free scratch cards and more. It’s just a little added incentive for continuing to play there.
Low Rollovers
Every sportsbook offers its users promotions. These promotions often sound too good to be true, and that’s because there’s hidden terms. One of these terms are rollovers.
For example, a sportsbook may give you 150% bonus funds on your deposit. This sounds great, but they often give high rollovers on these bonus funds, which means you need to bet a certain amount of money before you can make a withdrawal. A 10x rollover is high, but possible. A 10x rollover on $100 bonus funds means you need to bet $1,000 before you can withdraw any money.
At SugarHouse, their rollovers are 1x, meaning you just need to play the bonus funds they give you, before you withdraw money. This is incredibly nice, but since they operate in this straight forward manner, it does mean their advertised promotions may be weaker in their overall value, as discussed later.
User Interface
SugarHouse Sportsbook is incredibly user-friendly, with both their website and app. The design is clean, with big, clear tabs to help you navigate. They do a great job at making sure the page does not feel too crowded, which can be a struggle for other books. The blocks and colors keep it organized and allow your eyes to attract to the areas of importance. It is tough to get lost or confused on SugarHouse Sportsbook.Â
Cons of SugarHouse Sportsbook
Availability
Sports betting continues to become legal in more and more states. However, SugarHouse Sportsbook is currently available for online betting in just two: New Jersey and Pennsylvania. While this will obviously change, it’s unfortunate that it is not currently more available.
Signup Bonus
While SugarHouse Sportsbook has low rollover requirements, which is nice, the signup bonus is still weak compared to some other books. SugarHouse is giving a 100% deposit match, up to $250. For beginning bettors, this may be nice, since it is double the money with a low rollover. However, the potential of this signup bonus is much lower than some other choices.
Overall Impressions
SugarHouse Sportsbook is one of the best books out there right now. They are incredibly user friendly and create a great overall experience. The only downside is that most people cannot use it, currently. If you find yourself in a state that allows you to use SugarHouse Sportsbook online, do not hesitate to check it out.
