The following Spotlight Stacks were selected by Awesemo.com’s Director of Content Josh Engleman. Please check back later for notes/additional picks from Awesemo himself.
MIL (vs. MIA)
The Brewers are overwhelmingly my favorite stack. They’re loaded with right handed hitting against lefty Dillon Peters and the Marlins. Domingo Santana is my favorite hitter, but I want way more than just him. Lorenzo Cain and Ryan Braun could easily have made the Spotlight Hitters list. Jesus Aguilar has a career .468 SLG versus lefties. You can easily use Travis Shaw in a lefty/lefty match-up where he’ll likely be low owned.
ARI (vs. SF)
Going back to the well one more time tonight with the Diamondbacks taking on Ty Blach and the Giants. Paul Goldschmidt goes nuclear on lefty pitching, so I’d recommend starting there. AJ Pollock and Ketel Marte look like the next best options in a stack, giving you Arizona’s projected 2-3-4. Finish that off with David Peralta and/or Chris Owings, and you’ll be off to an excellent start. If the line stays where it currently is, it’ll be hard to pass on this implied total.
Awesemo’s Notes
I agree with Josh that the Brewers and D-Backs are both strong stacks tonight. Since this morning, the Mets have gone up in value because Luke Sims was replaced by Matt Wisler, so I have them as a top stack now as well.
Can you guys please give thoughts on early slate pitcher and a stack??
