NBA Betting Picks, Odds & Predictions: Round 1 Playoff Matchups

Tonight’s NBA Playoff Matchup

Here’s a glance at tonight’s expert betting preview for tonight’s Western Conference Play-In Tournament game

Grizzlies vs. Warriors NBA Betting Preview

The Grizzlies needed a win to position themselves with a chance to make the NBA Playoffs. They allowed the Spurs to fight their way back from a 19-point deficit. Ultimately, Jonas Valanciunas was too much for San Antonio to handle. Valanciunas finished the game with a 23-point, 23-rebound double-double, rounded out by three blocks. Dylan Brooks also was steady for Memphis, leading the team with 24 points. It will take big games from these two, as well as Ja Morant, to knock off Golden State tonight.

To nobody’s surprise, reffing leaned towards the Lakers in the last matchup. Tonight they will lean towards the Warriors. That’s simply the NBA. Stephen Curry obviously led the Warriors last game, putting up 37 points. However, he was not as efficient as he could have been, finishing with six turnovers. Draymond Green also had six turnovers and failed to make a shot from the floor. With Memphis having multiple weapons, someone from the Warriors without the last name of Curry will need to step up and have a solid game. While Curry is playing like an MVP, he needs at least a little bit of help.

I'm a wannabe athlete whose athletic career ended after a long tenure riding the bench through JV baseball. The fantasy sports and sports betting degen side of me blossomed at age 12 when I found fantasy baseball and football, and led to a 12-year submergence into the poker scene -- I started playing "secret" cash games in my parents' basements by age 14. Luckily, I've finally found what I love to do -- write about "fake sports," which my girlfriend refers to it as, though it only took me until age 30.
