NBA Daily Fantasy Picks: Optimizer & Ownership Projections for DraftKings & FanDuel

After a huge NBA daily fantasy slate yesterday, there are five games on the schedule for tonight. There is a bit of NBA DFS injury news yet to come out, so be sure to check the Awesemo NBA Starting Lineups page to see who is in, who is out and who is starting as news breaks, and look at the NBA DFS rankings and projections for both DraftKings and FanDuel lineups tonight.

NBA Daily Fantasy Picks: Awesemo Grades | Nov. 4

*Grades are ordered DraftKings, FanDuel. Initial grade indicates a player’s strength of output, with the value grade indicating their strength as a play in relation to their salary.

PG Chris Paul — Grades: A, A | Values: B, A

There is a big difference between some salaries on DraftKings and FanDuel today, but Chris Paul has A grades for points and and value on FanDuel and is also playable on DraftKings. Paul has four double-doubles this season, but none more impressive than the 18-assist performance he had last game. His assist and steal numbers are high yet again this season, and his scoring production against Houston has been high over his past five matchups against them. According to Awesemo’s Boom/Bust Tool, Paul has a floor of about 36 points and a ceiling of nearly 50. In other words, he looks like a high-floor, high-ceiling play tonight.

SG Josh Giddey — Grades: B, B | Values: A, A

Josh Giddey has been one of the more impressive rookies this season. Over his past five games, he is averaging 13.8 points, 5.6 rebounds, 6.8 assists, 1.8 steals and 0.8 blocks per game. Giddey is filling the stat sheet and is doing it with a high usage rate and a lot of minutes. Even if he has an off shooting night, the rest of his stats should keep his fantasy value afloat, making him a safe play no matter the matchup. According to Awesemo’s Boom/Bust Tool, Giddey has a floor of about 29 points and a ceiling of over 40.

SF Matisse Thybulle — Grades: C, C | Values: A, A

There is plenty of value to be had on Philadelphia tonight, with Tobias Harris out because of COVID and Danny Green nicked up with a hamstring injury. Matisse Thybulle started and played 38 minutes. While he posted an insanely low usage rate of 5%, he still finished with 25 fantasy points on DraftKings. He should see a usage rate a bit higher tonight, and he is priced very low. Awesemo projects Thybulle for 33.7 minutes again tonight.

Latest NBA DFS Content

PG Shake Milton — Grades: C, C | Values: A, A

Shake Milton played 20 minutes last game as he continues to fully work his way back from an ankle injury. Tonight, however, Awesemo’s projections expect him to play about 24.5 minutes. He has had good usage in limited minutes and has double-digit points and two or more assists in three of his past four games. His production should continue to rise, along with his minutes. He is also priced extremely cheaply..
