For Tuesday night, there is six NBA games on tap, and below are some of my favorite NBA daily fantasy picks for both FanDuel and DraftKings based on Awesemo’s grades and values.

NBA Daily Fantasy Picks: Awesemo Grades | Feb. 2
Center: Nikola Vucevic
DraftKings Grades: A, Values: A
FanDuel Grades: A, Values: A
Vucevic’s price tags on both DraftKings and FanDuel have decreased since his last start, and this is the perfect time to invest with Aaron Gordon (ankle) now out for Orlando. Backup point guard Michael Carter-Williams (foot) is also still sidelined, and when these two have been off the court in 2020-21, Vucevic has seen his usage rise 4.4% to a team-high 33.1%. Gordon was only able to play 23 minutes in Sunday’s matchup against the Raptors, and after he exited Vucevic recorded 45.5 DraftKings points in 35 minutes of work. The Magic will now head back home to Orlando, but they will face Toronto again Tuesday night in this second leg of a mini-series between the two teams.
With Marc Gasol and Serge Ibaka both leaving in free agency this past offseason, the Raptors have become a vulnerable interior defense, allowing the eighth-most DraftKings points per game to opposing centers. Since the start of the new year, Vucevic has eclipsed 40 DraftKings points in 13 of his first 16 starts. Vucevic is the best point-per-dollar value above $8,000 on both DraftKings and FanDuel tonight according to Awesemo projections.
Projected NBA DFS ownership projection: DraftKings 44.7%, FanDuel 40.3%

Pont Guard: Russell Westbrook
DraftKings Grades: A, Values: A
FanDuel Grades: A, Values: B
Westbrook carried a minutes restriction in his first three games back from a quad injury, but he was let off his leash in Sunday’s dramatic 149-146 win over the Nets. After logging fewer than 30 minutes in three straight, the former MVP received 35 minutes and went off for 73.5 DraftKings points. The epic shootout produced an absurd number of points, and Tuesday’s tilt against the Blazers is also expected to yield huge scoring, with its total at an enormous 240.5 points. Both of these teams are defensively challenged, ranking 28th and 29th in efficiency this season, and Westbrook should be a full go tonight before being rested tomorrow.
Damian Lillard can score with the best of them, but his defense has always been his main flaw. That is especially as of late, with Portland giving up the fourth-most DraftKings points per game to opposing point guards over their last 10. Furthermore, this contest will take place in Washington, and though it is a small sample size, Westbrook has contributed 14.2 more DraftKings points per game on his home floor this season. He is a tremendous target on both sites, but at only $9,100 on DraftKings, Westbrook is a must-play in all formats.
Projected NBA DFS ownership projection: DraftKings 21.7%, FanDuel 15.1%
Power Forward: Eric Paschall
DraftKings Grades: D, Values: A
FanDuel Grades: D, Values: A
Four games ago, Steve Kerr opted to start Kevon Looney at center over rookie James Wiseman. The move helped the Wiseman gain more usage, but it was detrimental to Paschall’s fantasy value. Prior to this, Paschall was the leader of Golden State’s second unit, providing 0.96 DraftKings points per minute. But with Wiseman joining him off the bench in these past four, Paschall’s production plummeted to 0.70 DraftKings points per minute.
Now, after suffering a sprained left wrist this past Saturday night, Wiseman will be out for at least a week, unlocking Paschall as the Warriors’ sixth man. With this frontcourt now a three-man rotation of Draymond Green, Looney and Paschall, we should see the latter approach 25 minutes tonight against the Celtics. He is averaging 18.75 DraftKings points per game when he has cracked the 20-minute mark this season, and as of Tuesday afternoon, Paschall is the top point-per-dollar value on both DraftKings and FanDuel.
Projected NBA DFS ownership projection: DraftKings 31.9%, FanDuel 24.8%
Power Forward: Davis Bertans
DraftKings Grades: D, Values: C
FanDuel Grades: D, Values: B
In only his second game back from quarantine, Bertans got up to 30 minutes in Sunday’s thriller against the Nets. He was third on the team in playing time, only trailing Westbrook and Bradley Beal. His final score of 16.3 DraftKings points was underwhelming, but with this type of work, we have to expect some positive regression from Bertans going forward. The sharpshooter gunned 12 shots from beyond the arc in Sunday’s win, and this Blazers defense he will meet Tuesday is allowing the fifth-most made three pointers per game this season.
Additionally, before his self-isolation from the team that cost Bertans three games, he was supplying 26.9 DraftKings points per game when he had received at least 25 minutes this year. The long-range specialist is going to catch fire soon, and I love taking my chances on Bertans tonight in this gigantic total against the Blazers.
Projected NBA DFS ownership projection: DraftKings 12.2%, FanDuel 15.2%
