This five-game NBA slate features a lot of action. The top two teams in the Eastern Conference collide. Two other teams are favored by 14 or more points. We get to watch the Lakers try to hold their position in the standings for dear life. As always there is a lot of questionable players, even on this slate size. Boom: Drew Eubanks: $4,600 DraftKings/$3,900 FanDuel

Leading the way in our NBA Fantasy Boom/Bust Tool for the highest-projected boom percentage on both DraftKings and FanDuel tonight is Trail Blazers center Drew Eubanks. The Trail Blazers have really struggled after Jusuf Nurkic went down with an injury. In their last three games without him, they have lost by an average of 33 points as they have given up 125.3 points per game. Despite the blowouts, Eubanks has put together back-to-back promising games where he has averaged 13 points, nine rebounds and 26.8 DraftKings NBA points per game.

The Timberwolves are 14-point home favorites as this game has the second-highest total on the slate at 233.5 points. The benefit to the Trail Blazers options are the injuries. They have so many players hurt and unable to play tonight making the minutes for Eubanks very secured. Awesemo NBA projections have him to play 24.8 minutes and be the best value on FanDuel and the second-best on DraftKings. It also helps that the Timberwolves play at the third-fastest pace in the league, so this game should be very fantasy friendly. Eubanks is impossible to ignore.

Boom: Dejounte Murray: $10,800 DraftKings/$9,600 FanDuel

The best game environment on the entire slate is this matchup with the Spurs and Hornets. The total is set at a slate-high 237 points as the Hornets are four-point home favorites. This game should be extremely up-tempo as both teams rank in the top four of pace. The Hornets rank 22nd in defensive rating this season, allowing the third-most points in the league with 114.5 per game. They also allow the second-most rebounds and assists per game. Sounds pretty inviting for a player who can fill up the stat sheet in a variety of ways.

This is a great spot to target Dejounte Murray, especially on FanDuel at this cheap salary. Our NBA DFS ownership projections have Murray as the highest-owned player on FanDuel which should come as no surprise. He will be the best player on the floor. Murray is second to Nikola Jokic for most triple-doubles this season with 12. He has a great chance to build on that total in this fantastic matchup. In 12 games without former teammate Derrick White, Murray has averaged a double-double with 26.1 points, 10 assists and 8.6 rebounds per game. He has a 30% usage rate and has averaged 57.4 DraftKings points per game. Murray is a great pay-up option.

Boom: Mo Bamba: $5,300 DraftKings/$4,600 FanDuel

16.5% DraftKings Boom/33.5% FanDuel Boom

The center position is loaded per usual, but Mo Bamba is standing out as one of the best options for not only center, but on the slate in general. The Magic will be playing yet again without fellow frontcourt player Wendell Carter Jr. who is out due to an illness. Bamba has a team-high +3.3% usage rate and increases his production on DraftKings in a major way with Carter Jr. not on the floor this season. Bamba got into foul trouble last night which limited his upside, but he had a double-double in both of his previous games.

It has been surprising, but the Magic have actually won three of their last four games. They still have the worst record in the league, but did beat the Raptors on the road last night. The Grizzlies present a much tougher matchup, but their fast pace allows for a great fantasy environment. Where Bamba can take advantage in this matchup is with his shot blocking. He ranks tied for fourth in the league with 1.8 blocks per game. The Grizzlies are tied for the league-high in allowing 6.3 blocks per game.

Bust: Bam Adebayo: $8,900 DraftKings/$9,900 FanDuel

57.0% DraftKings Bust/45.3% FanDuel Bust

It is rare to see a player this highly priced on FanDuel compared to DraftKings. Normally, it is the other way around! This clash between the Heat and 76ers features the top two teams in the Eastern Conference. The Heat are two-point home favorites as this total is the lowest on the slate at 219.5 points. Kyle Lowry is out for the Heat as Jimmy Butler and a few other role players are listed as questionable. It would be hard to see Butler missing this game against his former team, but regardless this is a very tough spot to target Bam Adebayo.

The main problem with facing the 76ers is having to guard Joel Embiid. Not only is that a difficult task, but Embiid tends to get a very favorable whistle. He leads the league with 11.6 free-throw attempts per game as he is always getting his opponents into foul trouble. In their previous two meetings, Adebayo was injured and didn’t play. Foul trouble is a real concern in this matchup as well as the 76ers playing at the fourth-slowest pace in the league. Adding James Harden increased that pace, but this is still a tough spot to get too, especially on FanDuel.
