The SuperFlex format on OwnersBox NFL DFS makes it extremely important to get quarterbacks and their stacking partners correct since you’re likely to be rostering two players from the position. SuperFlex DFS also causes the best DFS plays at quarterback to be higher owned, but when the value is there it can be hard to fade. Given the importance of finding standout QBs, let’s take a look at the best quarterbacks for NFL Week 6 using Stokastic’s custom OwnersBox NFL DFS projections.
OwnersBox NFL DFS Strategy: Top Quarterbacks
OwnersBox DFS Quarterback Plays
Tua Tagovailoa, $7,200
The Dolphins offense is averaging 36.2 points per game through five weeks, and a Texans defense ranked 18th in DVOA is not likely to slow them down much. Tagovailoa’s projection of 21.87 is the highest of any player on the entire slate, and the third best point per dollar value. Tagovailoa’s condensed target tree also makes it easier to choose stacking partners, as Tyreek Hill (28.6%) and Jaylen Waddle (18.6%) make up 47.2% of the team’s target share.
Jalen Hurts, $7,600
The Eagles will be taking on a Jets defense that is normally very good, but the Jets will be without their top two cornerbacks in Sauce Gardner and D.J. Reed. Hurts’ projection of 21.69 is the second highest on the slate, and Hurts’ target tree is also fairly condensed, as A.J. Brown (30.4%), DeVonta Smith (19.6%) and Dallas Goedert (16.7%) account for 66.7% of the team’s target share.
Justin Fields, $7,000
The Bears are facing a Vikings defense ranked 19th in DVOA, and Justin Fields is coming off back-to-back games with at least 282 passing yards and four passing touchdowns. Fields’ projection of 20.15 is third best on the slate among quarterbacks.
Matthew Stafford, $6,100
The Rams will take on a Cardinals defense ranked 30th in pass DVOA. Matthew Stafford‘s projection of 19.99 is the best value on the entire slate. And Stafford’s pass catchers are elite and seemingly condensed. In the first game with Cooper Kupp active in week five, Kupp had 12 targets, while Puka Nacua had 11. Kupp, at $7,200, is also tied for the best value among wide receivers.
Joe Burrow, $6,400
The Bengals are taking on a pass funnel Seahawks defense ranked 2nd in run DVOA but 25th in pass DVOA. Joe Burrow looked healthier in week five than he has all season. And Burrow’s projection of 19.49 is the second best value on the slate. Burrow can also be paired with Ja’Marr Chase ($7,400), who is tied with Kupp as the best value among wide receivers.
