Underdog NBA Fantasy Picks & Predictions
Trae Young H/L 25.5 Points
My favorite play from Pacers-Hawks game, is Trae Young. Projected for 28.5 points by our Pick’Em Pro tool, “Ice” Trae could bring the first winter storm of the season to Atlanta. Young is averaging just 23.4 points per game this season after 26.2 last year. So what’s been this difference? His minutes and field goal attempts are about the same and he’s averaging 9.8 FTA per game, a career best. The shots are just not falling at a high rate.
Young’s 35.6 FG% is the lowest of his career since he shot 41.6% in his rookie season. I expect we’ll see some positive regression in the efficiency department and this game could point him in the right direction. The Pacers rank 29th in opponent points and 28th in opponent 3P% allowed to guards.

Myles Turner H/L 25.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists
I want to take advantage of this Pacers-Hawks game environment and it’s always fun and usually a good idea to stack these games in flex plays. Myles Turner is averaging 26.1 P+R+A this season in just 26.3 minutes, his lowest minutes per game since his rookie season. The Pacers are 4-point underdogs and I expect Myles Turner to get 29 minutes tonight in a favorable matchup for centers. The Hawks ranks 21st in opponent points and assists to the center position.
The Stokastic Pick’Em Pro tool has Turner projected for 28.3 P+R+A, good for a 55% Win% on selecting higher on this prop. If this game gets even close to the 251.5 total, Turner should clear this easily.

Anthony Davis H/L 2.5 Blocks
Anthony Davis gets a favorable matchup tonight against the Utah Jazz who have been getting absolutely crushed by bigs this season. Part of the reason is that Walker Kessler has been out and he’s not returning tonight. I expect Davis to have a huge night here and would love a fantasy points prop but there isn’t one listed at the moment, so blocks is the next best thing.
The Jazz get their shot blocked, a lot, 7.9 times per game, which ranks 30th in the NBA. More specifically, 2.9 opponent blocks to the center position is also the most in the NBA. The Pick’Em Pro tool has Davis projected for 3.1 blocks tonight good for a 52% Win%. Davis is averaging 3.3 blocks on the season and has recored five games with four or more blocks. Great spot for AD tonight!
