The Mavericks 2020-21 season got off to a far from ideal start. Star point guard Luka Doncic was viewed as a favorite to win the NBA MVP Award coming into the year. Momentum coming into this NBA Playoffs series is certainly on the Mavericks’ side given how the Clippers finished off the regular season.
