Bet Braves-Rockies Under 11.5: Expert MLB Player Prop Betting Picks, Odds & Predictions | Friday, Sept. 3

It is a loaded slate of MLB games tonight, with plenty of MLB betting predictions to be made. With the help of the Awesemo expert MLB player prop betting tool, below are three of Awesemo’s best expert MLB bets today.

Best MLB Bets Today: Player Prop Odds & Betting Picks

Kyle Gibson – Under 5.5 Strikeouts

Gibson has been one of the best pitchers in the Phillies rotation since being acquired at the trade deadline. Gibson has five quality starts in his six starts with Philadelphia, striking out five or fewer batters in each of them. The Marlins have the fourth-highest strikeout rate (25.4%) against right-handed pitching, so tonight’s mark of 5.5 strikeouts is going to seem like an easy number to reach. However, it should be noted that five of the last six starting pitchers to face Miami have not exceeded 5.5 strikeouts — and there are some decent names on that list. Going under on that number sets up a profitable plus-money wager.

St. Louis Cardinals at Milwaukee Brewers – Under 7.5 Runs

Adam Wainwright of the Cardinals goes head-to-head with Freddy Peralta of the Brewers in a matchup of elite right-handers. This is a huge matchup within the National League playoff picture, so expect both to bring their A-games.

Wainwright comes in at 13-7 with a 2.97 ERA and 1.03 WHIP in 26 starts this season. He took the unfortunate loss against the Brewers two weeks ago but only allowed two runs over six innings. Wainwright has had the benefit of facing the Pirates three times over his last four starts, going 3-0 and allowing no runs over a total of 24 innings. Even against a solid lineup like Milwaukee, Wainwright has held his own, with a 2.45 ERA on the season.

Peralta has struggled slightly in his last three outings, but he never let things get out of hand. At home Peralta is 4-1 with a 2.00 ERA in 12 appearances (11 starts) and held opponents to a .123 batting average. He has two no-decisions and a 3.00 ERA in two starts against the Cardinals this season.

Atlanta Braves at Colorado Rockies – Under 11.5 Runs

According to Awesemo’s Sports Betting Model, the total going under 11.5 runs will give bettors the highest expected return on investment this evening. Typically Coors Field is home to a lot of offense. However, as the calendar moves to September, the weather gets colder and the ball does not fly like it usually does.

Huascar Ynoa grabs the ball for the Braves while Antonio Senzatela does the same for the Rockies. Ynoa has been fantastic since returning from a three-month absence, with a 0.87 WHIP in three starts. His traditional numbers will not look as great since he took the loss in each of the last two starts, and those were against solid teams like the Giants and Yankees. Tonight’s matchup against the Rockies is one he should dominate. Senzatela has been quite effective himself, with four straight quality starts and three against the Astros, Padres and Dodgers. In fact, Senzatela has only allowed one run in his last 13 innings of work.
