The Spurs enter this game as losers of four straight, and they are at the risk of falling out of the play-in games in the Western Conference. They have also seen three of their past five games go to overtime, while five of their past six games have been on the road. Fatigue is clearly at play here. After leading the team with 22 points, which was also against Utah, Awesemo projects DeMar DeRozan to lead the team in that category again today. San Antonio will need to limit Utah’s second chances tonight if they want any chance to win.

The Spurs have been the best team in the league at covering the spread on the road, with a 21-9-1 record. However, the Jazz are the best both straight up and against the spread, with a 21-11 record against the spread on their own floor. With plenty of injuries, along with these solid records, it makes me want to stay away from the spread.

Instead, we’ll attack the total. The under is 19-15-1 for Utah and 24-13 for San Antonio when either plays Western Conference teams. The under is also 19-13 for the Jazz when they play at home and 34-26 when they’re a favorite. I will side with the under here.
