After a six-game slate for Monday, we get a colossal 11-game slate for Tuesday night. Without a doubt, gamers can expect some significant lineup news, so be sure to be checking back to Awesemo’s NBA DFS rankings and projections for both DraftKings and FanDuel when making your NBA daily fantasy picks and building DFS NBA lineups tonight.

NBA Daily Fantasy Picks: Awesemo Grades | May 11
Shooting Guard: Gary Trent Jr.
DraftKings Grades: B, Values: B
FanDuel Grades: B, Values: A
With the Raptors officially eliminated from the playoffs, they will rest Kyle Lowry, Fred VanVleet and O.G. Anunoby tonight, while Pascal Siakam has been ruled out with a shoulder injury. April 10 was the only other time this season that all these players have been inactive collectively for Toronto, and Trent took over the offense that night, going off for a career-high 63.75 DraftKings points against the Cavaliers. Trent logged 32.6 minutes in that game, and in the 57 minutes Trent has been on the floor without these four players since joining the Raptors at the deadline, he has garnered a team-high 30.2% usage rate and scored 1.16 DraftKings points per minute.
Facing the Clippers isn’t ideal, with their defense ranking as a top-ten unit this season, but Trent’s opportunity trumps any concerns with this matchup. He is a terrific mid-tier target on both sites, especially on FanDuel, where his $4,900 salary has him rating as a top-10 value on the slate, via Awesemo’s NBA DFS projections.
NBA DFS Ownership Projection: DraftKings 25.0%, FanDuel 47.6%
Small Forward: Evan Fournier
DraftKings Grades: C, Values: B
FanDuel Grades: C, Values: C
The Celtics received the unfortunate news yesterday that Jaylen Brown (wrist) is done for the season. Tuesday night will mark his fourth straight absence, and Fournier has been excellent filling in for Brown, producing 40 DraftKings points per game in these past three. With the last two Celtics games being tight throughout, Fournier has seen 35.5 minutes per game, and the hefty playing time should continue in Tuesday’s pivotal matchup with the Heat. As the current No. 7 seed in the East and trailing Miami by two games, Boston must win tonight if they want any chance of avoiding the play-in tournament.
While the Heat rate as a poor matchup, Fournier lit this defense up for a season-high 51.25 DraftKings points Sunday afternoon, and his $5,400 price tag on DraftKings is far too low for life without Brown.

Power Forward: Kevin Durant
DraftKings Grades: A, Values: C
FanDuel Grades: A, Values: C
Only one game ahead of the Bucks for the second seed in the Eastern Conference, the Nets should go all out for a win tonight against the Bulls. Chicago also hasn’t been eliminated from the postseason, and Vegas is predicting an excellent showdown between the clubs. As of early Tuesday, this game’s total is the second highest of the night at 232 points, and the spread is also only 5 points in favor of Brooklyn. All in all, this one of the better game environments of Tuesday’s massive 11-game slate, and with all the injuries behind him, Durant has looked like his superstar self as of late, supplying 57.9 DraftKings points per game in his past five.
With playoff implications to fight for every night, Durant has logged over 40 minutes in three of his past four starts, and he should have this type of volume is this tight spread against the Bulls. Expect a showing over 60 fantasy points tonight, and Durant’s $9,900 DraftKings salary makes him one of the best studs for this huge slate.
NBA DFS Ownership Projection: DraftKings 22.0%, FanDuel 14.0%
Power Forward: Jayson Tatum
DraftKings Grades: A, Values: C
FanDuel Grades: A, Values: B
Not only will be the Celtics be fighting to avoid the play-in tournament tonight, but Tatum also has some personal incentives he is playing for. Under the “Rose Rule,” if Tatum makes an All-NBA team this season, the max contract he signed this past summer can increase a whopping $32 million. With Boston being one of the biggest disappointments in the league this season, it is no guarantee Tatum will be named All-NBA, but he can surely help his cause if he puts up impressive numbers in these final four games of the regular season, hopefully helping his club avoid a play-in scenario. With so much at stake for Tatum’s team and for him personally, he should produce on his home floor.
With the Celtics 1.5-point underdogs against the Heat, which is the smallest spread on the board tonight, Tatum should absolutely handle right around 40 minutes of work in this playoff setting. Since the trade deadline, he has generated a team-high 1.4 DraftKings points per minute with Brown off the floor, and Tatum has eclipsed 50 DraftKings points in seven of the 10 games Brown has missed this season. As a final bonus, Tatum isn’t expected to bring much ownership on either DraftKings or FanDuel tonight, according to Awesemo’s NBA DFS ownership projections.
NBA DFS Ownership Projection: DraftKings 11.8%, FanDuel 12.8%
