NBA DFS Value and Advice | February 6
Boston Celtics-Detroit Pistons
There are no standout options from either side, but some secondary options to consider include Jaylen Brown and Robert Williams from the Celtics and Jalen Duren and Isaiah Stewart (questionable) from the Pistons.
Cleveland Cavaliers-Washington Wizards
The Cavaliers have several strong plays, including Darius Garland, Evan Mobley, Donovan Mitchell and Jarrett Allen. Bradley Beal is questionable, so if he sits, expect increased playing time for Kendrick Nunn and Deni Avdija. Kristaps Porzingis is expensive but has a high ceiling, while Beal is a secondary option if he plays.
Los Angeles Clippers-Brooklyn Nets
The Clippers have tightened their rotation recently, with Paul George looking the best among their options. Ivica Zubac is an interesting contrarian play after playing 38 minutes last game. The Nets have several moving pieces, with Ben Simmons questionable and T.J. Warren expected back. Edmond Sumner is likely to start and play big minutes if Simmons is out, while Cameron Thomas has a high ceiling but risky playing time if he comes off the bench. Patty Mills could see more minutes than expected.

San Antonio Spurs-Chicago Bulls
The Spurs have several question marks, with Keldon Johnson questionable and Tre Jones out. If Johnson plays, nothing looks overly good, but Jakob Poeltl would be the first player to roster. If he sits, more playing time is available for Malaki Branham and Josh Richardson. The Bulls have several strong options, including Zach LaVine, DeMar DeRozan and Nikola Vucevic.
Sacramento Kings-Houston Rockets
The Kings have a great spot with De’Aaron Fox questionable. If he plays, he looks good, but if he sits, Davion Mitchell should start in his place. Domantas Sabonis is a strong play with or without Fox, as are Harrison Barnes, Kevin Huerter and Keegan Murray. Jalen Green and Alperen Sengun have high ceilings and low ownership for the Rockets.
Dallas Mavericks-Utah Jazz
There is value from the Mavericks, but it is not clear who yet with Kyrie Irving and Luka Doncic out. Christian Wood is questionable, and Jaden Hardy is likely to be a strong value if he starts. Frank Ntilikina is questionable but will see plenty of minutes if he plays. Tim Hardaway Jr. should see an increase in usage and is especially appealing on FanDuel at $5,200. Kelly Olynyk stands out on DraftKings at $4,100 after playing 30 minutes last game. The Jazz have several secondary options, including Mike Conley, Jordan Clarkson, Walker Kessler and Lauri Markkanen.
Oklahoma City Thunder-Golden State Warriors
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is a great option with Luguentz Dort out, but there is high opportunity cost with other exceptional guard plays. Josh Giddey is a secondary option. Jordan Poole is a top priority for the Warriors with Stephen Curry out, while Klay Thompson and Andrew Wiggins should also benefit.
Milwaukee Bucks-Portland Trail Blazers
Giannis Antetokounmpo is the highest-projected player on the slate, and there is plenty of value to get to him. Jrue Holiday’s price is down to $7,600 on DraftKings and offers upside. The Trail Blazers have several secondary options, with Jusuf Nurkic out and Drew Eubanks and Trendon Watford splitting 48 minutes.
