Paul George vs. Pelicans: $8,100/$7,800

25.9% DraftKings Boom/39.6% FanDuel Boom

George is listed at a reasonable price today in a great matchup. New Orleans is the third-worst defensive team in the league, but they have the offense to keep the game competitive. This should mean we see plenty of offense from the Clippers and from George. This is also a slight pace-up game for Los Angeles, feeding more into the notion that we will see a lot of scoring from the Clippers.

Kevin Porter Jr. vs. Celtics: $5,000/$6,000

65.7% DraftKings Boom/47.1% FanDuel Boom

Porter has played two games for Houston, and he has smashed value in both. While his price did jump up, he would still be a boom for both performances at this price. Across the two games, Porter had averaged 20 points and 9 assists. He also averaged a combined 3.5 steals and blocks. At a cheap price, Porter will be a popular option, and rightfully so.

Enes Kanter vs. Timberwolves: $6,900/$6,800

29.9% DraftKings Boom/42.4% FanDuel Boom

In a rematch of last night, Kanter and the Trail Blazers face off against the Timberwolves. Again, these are two of the worst defensive teams in the NBA, so it should be another high-scoring game after the two combined for 246 last night. Kanter finished with a 20-point double-double, which was enough to hit value but didn’t boom. He added no defensive stats, and his 11 rebounds was actually slightly low for what he has been totaling. For these reasons, he can certainly out-perform what he did yesterday, putting up an even better stat line.

NBA DraftKings + FanDuel Bust Candidates

Marcus Smart vs. Rockets: $6,000/$5,900

89.0% DraftKings Bust/74.1% FanDuel Bust

Smart returned from injury last game and played well. However, he also only saw 20 minutes. While there’s a decent chance his minutes will be raised, it won’t be enough to trust him at this price. Smart will also likely be tasked with guarding Victor Oladipo as much as possible while he is in there. This means he will likely exert most of his energy on the defensive side of the floor, resulting in fewer NBA fantasy points.
