Needless to say, this is a layup for starting Underdog NFL entries. Though he is officially QB1 in Indianapolis, Richardson needs reps in the preseason, and in Week 1 he threw 12 times and completed seven for 67 yards. He also rushed twice for 7 yards. The odds of Richardson knocking this out on his very first play are quite high, and even if he has the worst passing game of his life, Richardson is almost certainly going to carry a few times for a handful of yards.
There is no need to overthink this; lock in Richardson and move on. Also, keep in mind that this pick is for a Saturday game, whereas the next two come from tonight’s Bengals-Falcons matchup, so this three-pick entry will not cash out until tomorrow. The Richardson Underdog Fantasy promo is available through Saturday, Aug. 19.
Best NFL Underdog Play: Anthony Richardson Over 0.5 Total Yards
Chase Brown O/U 39.5 Rushing + Receiving Yards
The Brown split with Chris Evans may be tough to figure out, and their rushing + receiving lines are almost exactly the same. In Week 1 of the preseason, Brown had twice the snap share that Evans did (42 to 21) and got more touches (11 to 7); however, Evans did more with his carries, rushing for 49 yards on seven attempts. He only saw one target and did not catch it, while Brown caught all three of his targets and turned them into 33 yards. In total, the yardage discrepancy (49 for Evans, 45 for Brown) was not that wide despite Evans being a more efficient.
The bigger takeaway is the snap disparity. Brown getting that many more is notable, and though it could even out a bit, he clearly has the edge. Brown also is unlikely to be less efficient with his carries than the eight for 12 yards he posted in Week 1 — and he still comfortably cleared this 39.5 line in that one.

Jake Browning O/U 97.5 Passing Yards
The Bengals quarterback situation on Friday is likely to resemble what they put forth in Week 1, only with the gameplan reversed. In the first game, Browning started and played 38 snaps, and Trevor Siemian finished and took 28. Siemian is going to start this game, and that could mean a slightly higher snap share for him and a lower one for Browning.
Siemian also threw considerably more than Browning in the first game (28 to 17), and while both quarterbacks were quite bad, Siemian at least eclipsed 100 yards passing on his attempts. Browning finished with just 95. Now, Browning appears to be the frontrunner to win the backup quarterback job, which could mean a couple things for tonight: One, the Bengals may look to give him the finishing dropbacks and thus up his pass attempts from last week, or they could give Siemian more attempts as a final shot at grabbing QB2. Given the way last week played out, option 2 seems a little more likely, so lean under here.
