Best NBA Betting Picks Today: Player Props | June 25

Bogdan Bogdanovic Over 10.5 Points (FanDuel)

Bogdan Bogdanovic NBA player props picks odds prediction expert vegas betting lines today NBA playoffs Eastern Conference Playoffs Game 2 Atlanta Hawks vs. Milwaukee Bucks Friday June 25 2021

It has been a brutal past four games for Bogdan Bogdanovic. That said, he was dealing with a nagging injury in the latter part of the team’s second-round series. As a result, his minutes have been down from where they were earlier in the postseason. Bogdanovic has failed to play more than 29 minutes in any of the last four games. In two of those, he only was on the floor for 21 minutes. Even so, his failure to reach double-digit points in any of the four contests is still a bit surprising. The odds for his total points have plummeted as a result. Bettors have a great opportunity for a positive regression prediction tonight.

The Latest Sports Betting Content from Stokastic Odds

Bogdanovic is a far better scorer than the last four games would indicate. He averaged 16.4 points per game over the course of the full season. Prior to these last four games, he had been shooting the ball well in the playoffs. Only once had Bogdanovic finished below tonight’s line of 10.5 total points. While the minutes and attempts have been down, the shooting percentages are the real culprit. Bogdanovic shot 47.3% from the floor and 43.8% from beyond the 3-point line this season. He is just 9-for-34 from the field and an abysmal 1-for-16 from deep in this four-game slump. Regression to the mean is inevitable, so buy low on this over tonight.

John Collins Under 9.5 Rebounds (FanDuel)

Like the NBA player props prediction above, regression to the mean is also bound to occur for John Collins. This time, however, it would result in a statistical decline. Collins has been a menace on the glass over Atlanta’s last seven games. He has finished with double-digit rebounds in six of those. His 15 rebounds paired nicely with 23 points for a massive Game 1 double-double. In fact, Collins combined with center Clint Capela to grab 34 of the team’s 51 total rebounds.

Despite the massive output on Wednesday and Collins’ body of work over the last several games, bettors should consider the plus-money odds on playing under 9.5 rebounds. The Awesemo NBA Player Props Tool counts this prediction among its top props of the evening. After all, Collins has been overachieving relative to statistical norms over this recent stretch. He averaged just 7.4 rebounds per game over the course of the full season. Earlier on in the postseason he was hovering right around that average. While he deserves a ton of credit for stepping up during the Hawks’ playoff run, it will be hard to continue this double-digit rebounding pace. The Bucks were the second-best rebounding team on a per-game basis this season. With tonight being a virtual must-win for Milwaukee, it’s only another reason to play the under.

Jrue Holiday Over 19.5 Points (BetMGM)

The Bucks may have lost Game 1, but it’s hard to blame Jrue Holiday. He had a monstrous performance, totaling 33 points and 10 assists. He added four rebounds, a pair of steals and a block for good measure. Holiday has been fairly consistent in the scoring department throughout the playoffs, but Wednesday night’s game was easily one of his best. The NBA player props odds have tonight’s line at 19.5, nearly 2 points more than the 17.7 Holiday averaged per game this season. Of course, tonight sets up as far from a regular scenario for Milwaukee. Holiday has also taken a minimum of 16 shot attempts in each of the last five games. The Bucks clearly want him looking to score, making the over a worthwhile prediction tonight.
