The NBA playoffs are finally underway! After a great day of basketball yesterday, there are four more games on the slate for Sunday. For NBA fantasy players, yesterday started the countdown for the end of the season. If you are looking to get exposure to other daily fantasy basketball sites aside from the typical salary cap-based picks contests, then you’re in luck; Monkey Knife Fight has prop contests available for every NBA playoff game all postseason long.
There are props for users to pick fantasy points, actual points, rebounds and more. You will be competing only against yourself. Also, the payout increases with contests that require more picks. While there are far too many contests to include them all in this article, let’s go through some of the best NBA fantasy Monkey Knife Fight picks to make for the NBA Playoffs Round 1 games today.
Monkey Knife Fight NBA Fantasy Picks | Round 1
It is important to note that much like odds update throughout the day, contests at MKF are subject to change. So if you like these NBA picks below, it’s wise to jump on them quickly.
Triple Doubling — Goal: Over 0.5 | Prize: 1.2x
We are picking three players for this contest, with the goal being to select a player to finish with a triple-double. All we need is one player to achieve a triple-double and we will earn 1.2 times our entry fee.
The obvious pick is Russell Westbrook since he is a walking triple-double. Julius Randle totaled six triple-doubles this season, while LeBron James had five in only 45 games. With the higher stakes in the playoffs, all three of these players have a good chance to hit.
If any of these three players get a triple-double, you will win 1.2 times what you entered. If you’re feeling frisky, you could raise the goal to 1.5, which would give you three times your entry fee if two of these players get a triple-double.
MKF NBA Fantasy Pick: Russell Westbrook, Julius Randle, LeBron James
Double Doubling — Goal: Over 2.5 | Prize: 2x
For this contest, we are picking three players in today’s games, with the goal being to select players to finish with a double-double. While we could pick one or two with a smaller payout, we are trying to pick three players to finish with a double-double to double our money.
We will run it back with Westbrook since he has just as high of a chance at a double-double as anyone. However, we will focus on the big men for the other two picks.
The Grizzlies and the Jazz are two teams that feature traditional big men. They are able to do this because Jonas Valanciunas and Rudy Gobert are two of the best in the game, and their teams need them on the floor often today. Valanciunas is a walking 20-10 guy at this point, while Gobert has five straight double-doubles.
MKF NBA Fantasy Pick: Russell Westbrook, Jonas Valanciunas, Rudy Gobert

More or Less — Pick More/Less For Each Player | Prize: 10x
In this Monkey Knife Fight NBA fantasy contest, it is a simple more/less pick for four players. Pay attention to the categories, as it is a different stat for each player.
Bradley Beal: More than 28.5 points
Rudy Gobert: More than 13.5 rebounds
Jordan Clarkson: More than 2.5 3-points made
Russell Westbrook: More than 11.5 assists
Bradley Beal and Westbrook are connected, as Beal scoring more should lead to more assists for Westbrook. Beal had been dealing with hamstring injury, but he looked much better last game, scoring 25 points in 28 minutes. Westbrook also averaged 11.7 assists across three games with the 76ers this season.
Rudy Gobert has totaled 14 or more rebounds in five straight games, and there’s little reason for that to not continue. He should play big minutes today. As should Jordan Clarkson off the bench, as Donovan Mitchell eases back into true form. Clarkson has at least three made 3-pointers in each of the last four games, and he has totaled nine over the past two games with the Grizzlies.
More or Less — Pick More/Less For Each Player | Prize: 125x
Yes, you read that correctly. We have another More or Less contest, but picking this big contest correctly wins you 125 times your entry. It won’t be easy, as we need to pick eight players’ fantasy points correctly. However, it’s worth sprinkling a little bit on. The payout is too sweet not to.
Russell Westbrook: Less than 57 fantasy points
LeBron James: More than 50.5 fantasy points
Anthony Davis: Less than 48.5 fantasy points
Julius Randle: More than 46.5 fantasy points
Trae Young: Less than 45.5 fantasy points
Bradley Beal: More than 43.5 fantasy points
Rudy Gobert: More than 40.5 fantasy points
Donovan Mitchell: Less than 40.5 fantasy points
