NFL Week 2 DraftKings Reignmakers Targets
Quarterback: Joe Burrow, Cincinnati Bengals
Week 2 Projection: 21.42 DraftKings Points
Core Floor Price: $12.50
Not many players played worse than Burrow in Week 1. In the opening game of the season, the Bengals got blown out by the Browns with Burrow only managing to tally 82 passing yards prior to exiting the game early due to the lopsided score. This isn’t cause for concern and Burrow also got off to a slow start last year with four interceptions in his opening game in 2022 against the Steelers.
Don’t forget that Burrow missed most of training camp and the preseason with a calf injury so he’s likely working off some rust. In the Stokastic projections, he has the highest projection in Week 2 of any non superstar designated QB. Expect him to bounce back in a big way against a weak Ravens’ secondary.
Running Back: Rachaad White, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Week 2 Projection: 14.42 DraftKings Points
Core Floor Price: $3.74
Few running backs were on the field as much as White in Week 1. He played 79% of the snaps for the Bucs and dominated the backfield. Does this guarantee production? No, not exactly but production doesn’t exist without opportunity and White has this in spades.
A three-down back for Tampa Bay, White is also capable of catching passes out of the backfield which gives him a massive ceiling going forward at an extremely cheap price on the secondary market.
Wide Receiver: Tee Higgins, Cincinnati Bengals
Week 2 Projection: 14.62 DraftKings Points
Core Floor Price: $6.50
Much like Burrow, Higgins had a stinker of a fantasy game to open the season. Despite seeing eight targets, Higgins finished with a grand total of 0 receptions. The Bengals didn’t score a single touchdown last week which is leading to the entire offense being undervalued in the Reignmakers Marketplace.
Nobody wants anything to do with this team, making it a perfect buy-low spot. Higgins topped 1,000 receiving yards in consecutive seasons coming into this year and the larger sample size of results outweighs what happened in Week 1.
