NBA DFS Lineup Advice For Wednesday: Misprices & Key Absences Dominate the Day (October 25)

We understand not everyone looking for NBA DFS lineup advice has the time to watch every show, read every breakdown and input data into optimizers. Perhaps you’re still getting a feel for NBA DFS and aren’t quite ready to give NBA Sims a try.

That’s where our NBA Lineup Generator comes in handy.

In just a few minutes and with the click of a few buttons, sort through lineups and save up to 20 at a time using a tool that processes our projections for you. The Lineup Generator is, dollar-for-dollar, the most powerful tool in the industry, as it gives you the flexibility to choose different lineup types but ultimately will only give you lineups that have been found to be long term profitable in the Stokastic Sims.

We used Lineup Generator to see what players we’d see most often in our builds tonight. Of course, with NBA DFS more than any other sport, an important caveat: Late news can change things drastically.

We would recommend running the Lineup Generator as close to lock as possible. But we can still get a good idea earlier in the day of which players are likely to pop into lineups, so we took an early first look.

Here’s what we did and the results.

NBA DFS Lineup Advice for October 25 | Lineup Generator

It all starts with picking three main options. First, you’ll choose which site you want to build for, DraftKings or FanDuel.

Then, let Lineup Generator know what kind of build you’re going for: Chalky, Balanced, Contrarian, or All, which gives you a mix of the three types.

Finally, choose if you want to lock any players into all of your lineups.

NBA DFS Lineup Generator Results – October 25

For this build, we chose to look at DraftKings lineups. We chose All Lineups to see a mix of different lineups and didn’t lock anybody in.

For some slate context: All of the stars are currently expected to play tonight, so we don’t have any extreme value options. We do have some players who are mispriced for their role but not enough that we got too many truly stars-and-scrubs lineups. In our 20 lineups, we didn’t get any player priced about $10,000 in more than two of them.

In our 20 lineups, we got Tyus Jones ($4,900) in 14 of them. Jones is projected for more than 30 minutes as the starting point guard for the Wizards. Jones has around a 54% chance of “booming” according to Stokastic’s Boom/Bust tool.

Desmond Bane ($7,400) and Talen Horton-Tucker ($4,500) made it into 11 lineups each. Bane should see increased usage with Ja Morant suspended, while Horton-Tucker is too cheap for his role as a projected starter on the Jazz.

Evan Mobley ($6,300) and Zach LaVine ($6,800) each made it into nine lineups. Mobley should see increased minutes and rebounding opportunities with Jarrett Allen out, and LaVine is simply too cheap for his regular production.

Finally, Obi Toppin ($3,000) made it into eight lineups as the current best point-per-dollar play on the slate, even with a fairly conservative projection for under 24 minutes.

You will get different results if you run the Lineup Generator for yourself, but one thing won’t be different: You will only be getting lineups that showed up as long term profitable in the Stokastic Sims. So check it out!
