Top NFL DFS Value Plays
Rashee Rice – $5,000
Rice is the eighth-best point-per-dollar play on the slate, and every player ahead of him is more expensive. Rice played 68% of snaps in Week 9, his most of the season, and he could see a post-bye rookie bump, especially against an Eagles defense that gives up the second-most schedule-adjusted fantasy points per game to opposing wide receivers, per Fantasy Points. Rice’s 41 targets this season are second on the team, 30 behind Kelce but also 11 ahead of Skyy Moore in third. Rice’s projection of 10.01 fantasy points is the eighth best of all players in Stokastic’s OwnersBox NFL DFS projections.
Justin Watson – $3,200
Watson played 63% of snaps in Week 9, his most of the season. He was second on the Chiefs in route participation in that game at 58.8%, and his five targets led the team. Watson’s projection of 5.84 fantasy points in the ninth highest on the slate.
Jerick McKinnon- $4,300
McKinnon has just 12 rushing attempts and 23 targets through nine games. But against an Eagles defense that gives up the fewest schedule-adjusted fantasy points per game to running backs, the Chiefs may try to get creative, and McKinnon can line up all over the field. McKinnon’s projection of 5.77 fantasy points is the 10th best on the slate.
Marquez Valdes-Scantling – $3,400
Valdes-Scantling was third on the Chiefs in route participation and tied for third in target share in Week 9, at 52.9% and 10%, respectively. Valdes-Scantling’s projection of 3.93 is the 11th best on the slate.
Noah Gray – $3,200
Gray is fourth on the Chiefs in route participation and tied for sixth in target share at 45.8% and 6.8%, respectively. Gray’s projection of 3.43 is the 12th best on the slate.
Kenneth Gainwell – $4,200
Gainwell played 39% of snaps for the Eagles in week 9, getting just three carries but also running routes on 28.1% of the team’s dropbacks. Gainwell has a tough matchup with a Chiefs defense that gives up the second-fewest schedule-adjusted fantasy points per game to running backs, but the price is right.
