The SuperFlex format on OwnersBox NFL DFS makes it extremely important to get quarterbacks and their stacking partners correct since you’re likely to be rostering two players from the position. SuperFlex DFS also causes the best DFS plays at quarterback to be higher owned, but when the value is there it can be hard to fade. Given the importance of finding standout QBs, let’s take a look at the best quarterbacks for NFL Week 7 using Stokastic’s custom OwnersBox NFL DFS projections.
OwnersBox NFL DFS Strategy: Top Quarterbacks
OwnersBox DFS Quarterback Plays
Patrick Mahomes, $7,800
The Chiefs have the highest implied team total on the slate, against a Chargers defense ranked 21st in pass DVOA. Mahomes has shown a willingness to run this season as well, averaging nearly 31 rush yards per game. Mahomes’ top pass catcher, Travis Kelce, is pretty expensive at $7,100, but Kadarius Toney and Rashee Rice are also fine stacking options at $4,000 and $4,900, respectively.
Lamar Jackson, $7,000
Jackson has a tough matchup against a Lions defense ranked 5th in pass DVOA and 3rd in run DVOA, but he is the the second best point-per-dollar value of the slate. Jackson has two solid passing options in Mark Andrews and Zay Flowers at $5,400 and $5,500, respectively.
Geno Smith, $6,100
Smith is the top point-per-dollar play on the entire slate, in a great matchup against a Cardinals defense ranked 31st in pass DVOA. Tyler Lockett ($5,800) and DK Metcalf ($6,500) have strong projections, while Jaxon Smith-Njigba ($4,000) is a great value option.
Russell Wilson, $6,000
Mr. Unlimited faces a Packers defense ranked 14th in pass DVOA. Wilson has some nice value stacking options in Jerry Jeudy ($5,600), Courtland Sutton ($5,300), and Marvin Mims ($3,700).
Baker Mayfield, $5,900
Mayfield will face a Falcons defense that has been a pass funnel so far this season, ranking 9th in run DVOA but just 29th in pass DVOA. Mayfield has two very strong stacking partners in Mike Evans and Chris Godwin at $6,300 and $6,100, respectively.
