Top NFL DFS Stacks for Week 7 on DraftKings & FanDuel

In this weekly DFS series, we will comb through Stokastic’s top NFL DFS top stacks tool to see which Week 7 team stackability ratings stand out above the rest on DraftKings and FanDuel.

Later on Sunday morning, as the data team finalizes NFL DFS player projections for the week, we will add an update to this article looking at how the data has moved.

NFL DFS Week 7 Team Stackability Ratings on DraftKings & FanDuel

First things first: below is a short legend overviewing the data points that are included throughout, all of which can be found on Stokastic’s best NFL DFS stacks page for DraftKings and FanDuel.

Top Stack: The probability that the QB + receiver combo will be the highest scoring of the week (averaged the probabilities for top-scoring with one receiver and two receivers together).

QB Own: Projected ownership of the starting quarterback for the given team.

Avg Sal: Average salary of skill position players weighted for projected ownership.

Top Value: Top stack % points per dollar of salary spent.

Rush %: How often the team is expected to rush on any given play during the game. A lower Rush % means the quarterback will be throwing more often!

Overall Rating: Stokastic’s rating of the quality of the stack, taking into consideration key variables like top stack probability, top value probability, and projected ownership.

SUNDAY UPDATE: The Seahawks (35), Chiefs (29), Rams (26), Packers (21) and Ravens (19) have the top five overall stackability ratings for NFL DFS Week 7. Shifting to FanDuel, the Seahawks (34), Rams (31), Chiefs (28), Buccaneers (25) and Ravens/Bills (19) are the top five. Week 7 NFL DFS Top Team Stack: Kansas City Chiefs

Stokastic’s Week 7 NFL DFS team stacks tool has Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs near the top of both DraftKings and FanDuel. They have a 13.3% top stack probability on DraftKings and a 19.0% top stack probability on FanDuel for their home game against Justin Herbert and the Chargers.

The Chiefs also have the highest probability of being the top value stack on DraftKings. Mahomes’ crew has won five straight heading into what should be a popular game to target for DFS purposes here in Week 7. Los Angeles has a top-tier quarterback in Herbert at the helm and other potent weapons in Keenan Allen and Austin Ekeler, who have DraftKings boom probabilities of 9.4% and 2.0% respectively versus the Chiefs.

As for Kansas City, Mahomes has a 5.5% boom probability at $8,300 on DraftKings and a 6.4% mark on FanDuel where he’s $9,200. Travis Kelce (26.1% target share) has a boom probability of 19.4% on DraftKings and that number jumps up to 23.3% on FanDuel. At wideout, Marquez Valdes–Scantling, Skyy Moore, Rashee Rice, Kadarius Toney and Justin Watson all saw at least a 39% snap rate in Week 6 — of this group, Rice has Stokastic’s highest Week 7 boom probability at 4.9%.

Week 7 NFL DFS Top Team Stack: Seattle Seahawks

Geno Smith and company are in a great position to get back to winning ways in Week 7 after a step back last weekend. They’ll host the Cardinals as sizable favorites on the NFL odds board — Seattle is implied for 25 points and favored by eight as of now — and have Stokastic’s highest team stackability rating on DraftKings (30).

The major news in this game is the status of DK Metcalf, who will be a game-time decision on Sunday. If he is unable to give it a go, that could have a big impact on the data, so we will see how that situation unfolds as we get nearer to kickoff. For now, Metcalf is being included in projections and has a boom probability of 5.4% on DraftKings. Fellow receiver Tyler Lockett would be a strong stacking partner with Smith and currently owns an 8.3% boom probability of 8.3% on DraftKings and a 4.9% boom probability on FanDuel. Rookie wideout Jaxon Smith–Njigba is at a 1.9% boom rating on DraftKings.

All in all, Seattle has the highest top value probability on DraftKings and is second in that regard on FanDuel, along with an undaunting average salary of $6,074 on DraftKings and $7,211 on FanDuel. If we look at the Seahawks’ player and team props page at OddsShopper, Smith’s passing yard prop is 251.5 yards, with Metcalf at 51.5 yards and Lockett at 55.5 yards.

Other Week 7 NFL DFS Team Stacks to Consider

While the top stack probabilities and overall ratings are useful, having additional data points in projected QB ownership, top value probabilities and expected rush percentages for every team all on one page is extremely handy when doing NFL DFS prep.

Ahead of NFL Week 7, here are more team stacks to consider for your DraftKings and FanDuel daily fantasy lineups.

Los Angeles Rams

Matthew Stafford, Cooper Kupp and the Rams are nearing the top of the charts for Week 7 team stackability. Kyren Williams is out injured and LA is expected to adopt some type of committee RB approach this Sunday. It’s a pretty murky situation there, so we could see the offense lean even more on the passing game than usual.

For Week 7, the Rams are ranking as a strong team to stack for DFS on both sites, with a top stack probability of 14.4% on DraftKings and 13.6% top stack probability on FanDuel. Los Angeles is implied for 24 points and favored by three for this home matchup with Mike Tomlin’s Steelers.

If we look at Stokastic’s boom and bust probability tool for LA, Kupp tops the pack with an 11.3% boom probability on DraftKings, with Puka Nacua at 7.7%, Stafford at 5.0%, Tyler Higbee at 2.9% and Tutu Atwell at 0.4%. Analyzing the Rams’ player and team props page at OddsShopper, Kupp has a high receiving yardage prop of 90.5 yards, with Stafford at a passing yard prop of 260.5.

Baltimore Ravens

Lamar Jackson will be taking aim at a Detroit defense that has held up well in 2023, but that hasn’t stopped the Ravens from ranking high in stackability for the main slate. Implied for 24 points and favored by three at home, they’re among the highest projected NFL DFS team stacks for Week 7, with a 6.9% top stack probability on DraftKings and a 5.5% top stack probability on FanDuel.

As of now, Baltimore is tied for the fourth-highest overall rating alongside Pittsburgh (20) and behind only Seattle, Green Bay and Los Angeles (Rams) in that metric, which blends variables like top stack probability, top value probability, and ownership projections.

Once we filter to the Ravens on the boom and bust probability tool, we can see who NFL DFS projections are favoring most. For Baltimore, that distinction belongs to Mark Andrews, who is carrying a 10.0% boom probability on DraftKings for Week 7. Jackson is at 8.4%, while number one receiver Zay Flowers is at 7.2%.

Other teams rating out highly in stackability on DraftKings include the Packers, Steelers and Buccaneers.

Be mindful that the data could change as more news is released and we get closer to kickoff. As usual, Stokastic will be tracking all slate-relevant injury updates and will be tweaking NFL player projections all the way up until lock on DraftKings and FanDuel.

DFS players should be vigilant about watching for player news after initial lock, in case there are better values to late swap into before the afternoon games kick off.
