PrizePicks NFL DFS Preseason Week 2 Picks: Patrick Mahomes UNDER Passing Yards

With Week 2 NFL Preseason action underway, the attention of the sports world is shifting back to the NFL. Last week, we had some nice success in the prop-betting market on PrizePicks. Of course, Week 2 DFS NFL tonight will be more challenging with the first teams getting a lot more reps this time around. In last night’s game between the New England Patriots and Philadelphia Eagles, some first-team players saw as many as 25 to 30 snaps. So, who will be playing most of the snaps for the teams in tonight’s two-game slate and who are the best NFL DFS picks to target?

For those wanting to get in on the NFL DFS action now with preseason props, PrizePicks is the choice for you. PrizePicks provides a big list of stats and fantasy points, and users can choose for which bets they want to make a prediction. Stringing together a few picks can payout up to 10 times the entry fee. Users are even able to combine picks across different sports. The only rule is they must make picks for players on at least two different teams.

PrizePicks NFL DFS: Week 2 Preseason Picks & Props

It is important to note that, much like odds that update throughout the day, these props at PrizePicks are subject to change. So if you like these NFL picks below, it is wise to jump on them quickly.

Patrick Mahomes – Under 82.5 Passing Yards

There was some interesting chatter from Chiefs head coach Andy Reid, saying there’s a “pretty good chance” Mahomes will get more preseason snaps. The reason is that Kansas City has a brand-new offensive line, and Reid would like to see more cohesion between Mahomes and the big guys up front. Unfortunately, there was no word on exactly how many snaps that means. More than four snaps could be 30, or it could be 10.

The Cardinals’ defense held three different Cowboys’ quarterbacks to a 20-for-43 night for 215 yards and a touchdown. In fact, Arizona had the 10th-best pass defense in the NFL last season, so this isn’t an automatically optimistic outlook. It will, undoubtedly, be an unpopular pick, but taking the under makes too much sense. After all, nearly everyone will hop on the opportunity to take what seems like an easy number.

Eno Benjamin – Over 25.5 Rushing Yards

Benjamin was listed in this article last week and smashed the over on his 24.5 rushing-yards mark by going for 50! It won’t be as easy to get over that mark, with both James Conner and Chase Edmonds expect to get work in tonight. However, Benjamin’s situation will be much better going against the Chiefs’ second-team defense. When it gets late in the game, Benjamin’s elusive style will come into play.

Thaddeus Moss – Under 15.5 Receiving Yards

Moss is a name known to many NFL fans, but it’s more for his dad, Randy, the NFL Hall-of-Fame wide receiver. Washington’s defense was the second-best unit against the pass last season. Only had a handful of talented tight ends were able to top 30 receiving yards against the Football Team in 2020, and that was against guys playing for 60 minutes. Of course, the personnel will be different, but the scheme is the same. Last week against the Patriots, their three tight ends combined for two catches on five targets for 21 yards. In the preseason opener, Moss only had one catch for 14 yards on two targets.

There’s also some familiarity here, as Washington cut Moss back in early April. If the Football Team really wants to take note, it can exploit the weaknesses it saw a few months ago.
