Monkey Knife Fight MLB DFS Picks for Sunday Night Baseball: White Sox vs. Brewers, July 25 | Brandon Woodruff & Lance Lynn

Tonight’s edition of ESPN’s Sunday Night Baseball is a dandy, with the Milwaukee Brewers looking to finish a three-game sweep against the Chicago White Sox. In this article I will select the two most profitable MLB DFS plays areas and check out the areas to attack on Monkey Knife Fight. Tonight’s slate is headlined by the marquee pitching matchup between Lance Lynn and Brandon Woodruff.

Tonight’s Top Monkey Knife Fight MLB Player Prop Picks

Monkey Knife Fight has a ton of profitable contests for the public, and here we will break down the two best areas from which to make MLB picks.

More or Less – Strikeouts: Pick 2 | Prize: 3x

Brandon Woodruff: 7.5 Strikeouts

Woodruff gets the ball in this huge primetime matchup with the Brewers going for the sweep. The White Sox have been held to one run in each of the first two games of this series, so Woodruff is certainly in a prime spot here. He has gone at least 5.2 innings and allowed only one earned run in four of his last five starts, but the strikeouts are a mild concern for this contest. Woodruff has only exceeded the 7.5 number once in his last three starts.

Chicago is in the middle of the pack in terms of strikeout rate against righties, at 23.1%, so there is not a clear advantage. The 7.5 number seems a bit high, so take the under with some faith that the White Sox will be desperate to avoid the sweep. Freddy Peralta (five) and Corbin Burnes (six) both failed to top this mark in the first two games of this series.

Lance Lynn: 6.5 Strikeouts

Lynn gets a nice boost in the National League park tonight, facing a pitcher instead of the designated hitter. Much like Woodruff, Lynn has only hit tonight’s strikeout prop in one of his last three starts. However, this is small number and a better spot. Lynn faces American League hitting on a regular basis, and the 6.5 number has adjusted properly here. Take the over on Lynn with the possibility of two free strikeouts when he is facing Woodruff.

Fantasy Challenge — Fantasy Points: Pick 3 | Prize: 1.5-4x

Willy Adames is an interesting case study tonight. In the three games out of the All-Star break he went crazy with eight hits in 13 at-bats. Since then he has been terrible. He is now 0-for-13 over the last four games, with four strikeouts but also four walks. Tonight could be the night he breaks the streak since Adames hits right-handed pitching almost 50 points better than he does lefties.

There is a nice run of Milwaukee lefties with good batter-pitcher stats against Lynn: Jackie Bradley Jr. (3-for-7, two home runs) and Christian Yelich (3-for-12, two home runs). As the No. 3 hitter, Yelich is the preferred play.

For the one White Sox player, Andrew Vaughn is the best as Chicago’s hottest hitter. He is 8-for-18 with three doubles and a home run over the last six games and is projected to hit fifth tonight.
