NBA Daily Fantasy Picks Based on Awesemo Grades & Values | 11/1/21

After a small slate last night, there is a large NBA daily fantasy lineup of nine games on the schedule tonight. There is a bit of NBA DFS injury news yet to come out, so be sure to check the Awesemo NBA Starting Lineups page to see who is in, who is out and who is starting as news breaks, and look at the NBA DFS rankings and projections for both DraftKings and FanDuel lineups tonight.

NBA Daily Fantasy Picks: Awesemo Grades | Nov. 1

*Grades are ordered DraftKings, FanDuel. Initial grade indicates a player’s strength of output, with the value grade indicating their strength as a play in relation to their salary.

SF Michael Porter Jr. — Grades: B, B | Values: A, A

It has been a tough start to the season for Michael Porter Jr., who has seen his NBA daily fantasy salary drop by quite a bit. Most of his struggles can be tied to his shooting. Porter has shot a combined 4-for-23 from 3-point range over the past three games. However, the matchup with Memphis tonight looks like a great one to get back on track. The Grizzlies have surrendered the second-highest 3-point shooting percentage in the league (42.3%), behind only the Pistons. Awesemo’s projections are loving him tonight, with him expected to put up a fantasy point total in the mid-30s.

PF Jaren Jackson Jr. — Grades: B, B | Values: A, B

Sticking that same game, Jaren Jackson Jr. is looking like a nice value, and he should see plenty of possessions matched up with Porter, who is not the best defensively. He is a great value on DraftKings especially, where he has seen his salary cut by $1,200 from last game. Jackson has struggled over three of his past four games. However, Memphis was blown out in two of those games, and he shot 3-for-12 against the Lakers. As long as tonight’s game stays competitive, Jackson will return a nice value. Awesemo’s projections agree, giving him a value of 3.99 on DraftKings.

C Mo Bamba — Grades: B, B | Values: A, A

One of the biggest surprises of this young season has been Mo Bamba. He has averaged 1.07 fantasy points per minute, and Awesemo’s projections have him slated for 30.7 minutes tonight. What is also nice about Bamba is that his minutes are secure. Despite losing by 25 points to the Knicks earlier this season, he still played 34 minutes. Orlando will likely not be blown out by Minnesota tonight, but Bamba should see a full workload regardless.

C Nikola Vucevic — Grades: A, A | Values: C, A

This one is a FanDuel exclusive since Nikola Vucevic is the only player that currently has an A grade paired with an A value, but it is only on FanDuel. On DraftKings he comes in at $1,000 more expensive. Tonight Vucevic faces off against a Celtics team that ranks 27th against his position according to Fantasy Cruncher. Robert Williams III offers strong interior defense, but Vucevic can hit shots outside the paint, where Williams will struggle to defend him. Vucevic put up an 18-point triple-double the last time he faced Boston.
