NBA DFS Value and Advice | February 10

Phoenix Suns vs. Indiana Pacers

Unfortunately, there is no news yet on any injuries for the Phoenix Suns, so keep an eye on that throughout the day. As for the Indiana Pacers, there are no priorities to speak of, so again, keep an eye on any potential injury news.

New York Knicks vs. Philadelphia 76ers

There is nothing that stands out from the Knicks as they face off against the 76ers. Joel Embiid is questionable, but if he plays, he is a top play on the slate. If he is out, it opens up more opportunities for the rest of the team, but no individual player stands out as a priority. De’Anthony Melton and Tobias Harris are cheap options, but there are likely to be better values available on the slate.

San Antonio Spurs vs. Detroit Pistons

Several players from both teams are questionable for tonight’s game, so it’s important to keep an eye on the injury report. San Antonio’s Keldon Johnson, Tre Jones and Jeremy Sochan are all questionable. If some of these players sit, it opens up value for the rest of the roster. Zach Collins is expected to start at center and is a top value option. For the Pistons, the entire team looks good across the board. Keep an eye on James Wiseman’s status, but if he is out, Jalen Duren and Isaiah Stewart look good in the frontcourt. Killian Hayes, who returned to the starting lineup last game, is underpriced and offers plenty of upside. Jaden Ivey and Bojan Bogdanovic are also good options.

Edit: Jones and Sochan are out tonight.

Latest NBA DFS Content

Charlotte Hornets vs. Boston Celtics

Mark Williams is arguably the best play on the slate if he starts for the Hornets. Nick Richards also offers value as a cheap option. Jayson Tatum is questionable, but if he plays, he is a strong pay-up option in a great matchup without Jaylen Brown.

Utah Jazz vs. Toronto Raptors

Collin Sexton is one of the best values on the slate as the Jazz take on the Raptors. Talen Horton-Tucker has cheap upside, but it’s tough to rely on his playing time, as he only saw 20 non-garbage time minutes in his last game and is currently projected for 24% ownership. The Raptors are in a good matchup, but no individual player stands out. This is a good team to target for low-owned contrarian plays in GPPs.

Houston Rockets vs. Miami Heat

With Eric Gordon gone, there is an open spot in the Houston starting lineup. Jae’Sean Tate will be an interesting value play if he starts. Jalen Green and Alperen Sengun are strong contrarian plays with Kevin Porter Jr. still sidelined. The Miami Heat remain shorthanded, but they had an eight-man rotation in their last game, so expect the same tonight in a great matchup. Tyler Herro, Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo all stand out as mid-range plays, while Gabe Vincent offers value. Caleb Martin or Max Strus is likely to exceed their salary as well.

Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Memphis Grizzlies

This game is filled with injury concerns for both teams, making it a bit tricky to navigate. For Minnesota, Kyle Anderson and Rudy Gobert are both questionable, while Mike Conley and Nickeil Alexander-Walker were just acquired and are also questionable. If all players are in, there isn’t much that stands out, but Gobert is underpriced at $6,700. If he’s out, Naz Reid will become a strong value play. Anderson’s absence would give Prince more minutes. Nowell would also likely see plenty of playing time if Conley and Alexander-Walker are out. For Memphis, there are no priorities, but Ja Morant and Jaren Jackson Jr. are interesting contrarian options.

Cleveland Cavaliers vs. New Orleans Pelicans

Cleveland is relatively healthy, with no major injury concerns. Donovan Mitchell, Darius Garland, Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen are all secondary options. Brandon Ingram is still underpriced for the Pelicans, but he has a tough matchup ahead.

Dallas Mavericks vs. Sacramento Kings

Luka Doncic is questionable, which could greatly impact the team’s performance. If he’s in, there isn’t much interest in the Mavericks. However, if he sits, Kyrie Irving will become a solid option. The Kings are healthy, but there isn’t anything that looks particularly attractive.

Edit: Doncic has been ruled out

Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Portland Trail Blazers

Luguentz Dort is questionable for the Thunder, while Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Josh Giddey are fine options for GPPs. Jaylin Williams offers contrarian value if he starts, but he’ll face tough competition from Mark Williams and Zach Collins. For Portland, Damian Lillard, Anfernee Simons and Jerami Grant all look promising. Nassir Little is likely to move into the starting lineup without Josh Hart and Gary Payton II, making him a good point-per-dollar value option with his minimum salary and small forward eligibility.

Milwaukee Bucks vs. Los Angeles Clippers

Giannis Antetokounmpo is one of the top projected players on the slate and should be easy to get into lineups. Norman Powell should see plenty of minutes for the short-handed Clippers, while Paul George is underpriced due to Kawhi Leonard being out. However, Tyronn Lue mentioned limiting George’s minutes heading into the All-Star break, so it’s important to take that into consideration and assess the risk involved.

Friday’s NBA slate presents some exciting options, with several players offering value and potential for big performances. Be sure to keep an eye on the injury reports and adjust your lineup accordingly, as they could greatly impact each game’s outcome.
