Monkey Knife Fight NBA Fantasy Picks | Eastern Conference Play-In

Triple Doubling — Goal: Over 0.5 | Prize: 1.5x

For this contest, we are picking three players between the two games, with the goal being to select a player to finish with a triple-double. All we need is one player to achieve a triple-double and we will earn 1.5x our entry fee.

The obvious pick is Russell Westbrook since he is a walking triple-double. Domantas Sabonis also has a good chance due to his passing abilities, and LaMelo Ball could also surprise in his playoff debut. If any of these three players get a triple-double, you will win 1.5 times what you entered.

NBA Fantasy Pick: Russell Westbrook, Domantas Sabonis and LaMelo Ball

Rapidfire — Draft Winner of 3 Matchup Categories | Prize: 4x

In this Monkey Knife Fight game type, you are picking which of two players will score higher in a stat category. One player gets a handicap much like the spread in a typical NBA game bet. If you pick all three matchups correctly, you win four times your entry fee.

Points: Jayson Tatum vs. Bradley Beal (+1.5)

It is a bit surprising to see Beal get the handicap in this matchup. Awesemo projects Beal for about 5.5 more points that Tatum already, so it feels easy to pick him here.

Rebounds: Domantas Sabonis (+0.5) vs. Russell Westbrook

Again, the man with the handicap is projected higher by Awesemo. The big difference here is their opponents. With the Hornets likely taking a missing a bunch of bad shots, Sabonis has a better chance to finish with more rebounds.

Assists: Devonte’ Graham vs. Terry Rozier (+0.5)

This feels like the toughest of the bunch. However, Graham is the more consistent assist producer. Rozier also tends to throw the ball up more often in big games, so he will likely be looking to score over helping teammates score.

Rapidfire — Draft Winner of 3 Matchup Categories | Prize: 5x

This is the same type of Monkey Knife Fight NBA fantasy contest as above. However, this one pays out five times your entry fee.

Points: Jayson Tatum vs. Bradley Beal (+1.5)

Same as above, so we are picking Beal.

3-Pointers Made: Kemba Walker vs. Davis Bertans (+0.5)

Walker has not been on the floor in a week, so it’s possible there will be a little rust on his shooting stroke today. Even if he is shooting well, he looks to be at a disadvantage against Bertans, who almost exclusively shoots 3-pointers. When the defense sucks to Westbrook or Beal, he will be left wide open. Walker has too much to worry about on defense to win this matchup.

Rebounds: Domantas Sabonis vs. Russell Westbrook (+0.5)

Same as above, except Westbrook has the handicap. It is possible this is hedging a bit, but Westbrook makes sense in this instance. He will be a vacuum for rebounds in the fourth quarter. This also completes a Wizards sweep of these contests.

NBA Fantasy Pick: Bradley Beal, Davis Bertans, Russell Westbrook

More or Less — Pick More/Less For Each Player | Prize: 10x

In this Monkey Knife Fight NBA fantasy contest, it is a simple more/less pick for four players. Pay attention to the categories, as it is a different stat for each player. However, Awesemo’s projected stats works perfectly for a contest like this.

Jayson Tatum: Less than 32.5 Points | Awesemo Projection: 23.97

Davis Bertans: More than 2.5 Made 3s | Awesemo Projection: 2.6

Russell Westbrook: Less than 12.5 Assists | Awesemo Projection: 10.88

Domantas Sabonis: Less than 13.5 Rebounds | Awesemo Projection: 12.92

Predicting all four of these correctly earns 10 times the amount put on this contest. This is a big payout, but there is one beast of an NBA fantasy contest that completely overshadows it.

Yes, you read that correctly. We are again picking more/less in stat categories for eight different players to earn 125 times the entry fee. This time the category is points for everyone. It is not likely, but it is worth a sprinkle. Let’s zoom through these eight Monkey Knife Fight NBA fantasy picks.

Jayson Tatum: Less than 32.5 Points

Bradley Beal: More than 31.5

Caris LeVert: Less than 25.5

Kemba Walker: Less than 24.5

Russell Westbrook: Less than 24.5

Domantas Sabonis: More than 22.5

Terry Rozier: More than 21.5
